Author's POV
Let's go back to what happened after that......
After Bairavan told her to leave his life, she was devastated and went to Nilgiri to stay with Thulir and Agathiyan. This had been part of her original plan, where she intended to bring Malar and Alar with her after their exams. However, following the incident, she departed without informing Malar and Alar.
The story of how the twins convinced themselves that it wasn't an impossible task shows that people make mistakes; some realize them, and some don't. In their case, they realized it quickly. They were just grappling with the insecurity of missing their parents, which manifested in an unexpected way. But it's fortunate that all the commotion was resolved before Ilavenil's birth.
Focusing on how they were convinced or what led them to accept, each has their own way of expressing things. If I contemplate what goes through Malar and Alar's minds and how Maaran persuaded his sister, it will take more time and lead me to ponder their characteristics more deeply, which may eventually lead me to imagine them having their own story...
No, no, no... let's continue to focus on Bairavan and Umai in this chapter, especially since it's the 20th chapter and I plan to conclude the story around the 30th chapter. It's important to concentrate on the main couple, which is why I've provided a closure for Thulir and Agathiyan.
Okay coming back to Umaiyazh
She is wounded, yet she acknowledges that she cannot fault him for such a reaction, as the mistake was hers. She wasn't so self-absorbed as to ignore the facts and the issues she created. However, his final words, dismissing her love as rubbish and declaring he didn't need it in his life, deeply hurt her, and his harsh way of shouting at her to leave wounded her self-respect. She has resolved not to beg or return to him unless he comes to ask for her himself.
She isn't angry with him for raising his voice; rather, she's upset by how he disrespected her love during their conversation. She believes he is sensible enough to apologize for the unintentional slap and expects that he will return to her, if not to reconcile, then at least to offer a simple explanation.
But that didn't happened in that past 1 and half years that slowly made her accept the fact he is not going to come back and why would he ? It's not like they were in deep love and understand each other or shared much moments to remember for life and he is a practical person, Thinking all that she concluded that she should move on from him and this time for real...
She stayed with Agathiyan and Thulir and took the guest house out of the main house to give privacy to the couple, The greenery gave her calmness and seeing how her brother taking care of Thulir and how beautiful their bond looks kept on reminding her that she is not that fortunate enough to live that life...
(Thank god Thulir didn't know this mindset of Umaiyal about her life being a fairytale)
Agathiyan and Thulir, both private individuals, are known to love each other deeply, yet they never display their affection publicly. Their love has always been understated, but Umaiyazh's glimpse into their arguments and reconciliations prompts her to reconsider her own views on love. Agathiyan, the family's authoritative figure, commands respect and exudes power. However, seeing him follow his wife's instructions obediently alters Umaiyazh's perception. She discovers that the always strong Thulir has her vulnerabilities and engages in playful antics with Agathiyan, revealing a side of themselves reserved only for each other.
Umaiyazh started to observe the world, absorbing the simplicity of local villagers and tribes. She had never attempted to empathize with anyone before, but now she found herself doing so. She thinks about him even more than during the month she pursued him or the two months when she pretended to try to forget him. She used to imagine their future together... but now, she's trying to understand his past thoughts and current circumstances.....
No one can fully understand another; just when you think you know someone, they have already changed. Thus, living with those differences and changes is what life is about.
She was determined to stop thinking about him, and that's when she overheard her mother talking with Thulir and Uyir. Deciding to at least make her mother happy, she agreed when Geethanjali brought up the topic of a marriage alliance this time.....
Did he really let go of her??????
I don't think so....
There is always the other side of the story, let's see that
After umaiyazh left Bairavan had to deal with the old case along with new series of problem.....mainly due to her killing that goon with his gun....
Police framed it as gang fight and the evidences found there also said the same that's how they set it......but the postmodern of that main man caused the problem, that was leaked by someone and there is no such pistol found in that crime place and the pistol class mentioned is also erupted many questions.....
If Bairavan and his team's involvement were to be disclosed, it would further complicate the case since they lacked an encounter order, which was revealed when a surviving goon exposed Bairavan's team's participation. With all suspicions pointing to Bairavan, he cleverly filed a report stating his pistol was stolen the day before, leading to another dilemma. According to the surviving goon, the individual who may have killed the main man was not present, so in addition to the inquiry and human rights bench, Bairavan must ensure that the team assigned to locate the unknown person does not succeed in finding Umaiayzh.
After discovering Umaiyazh's location to protect her and keep her name detached from the case, he had no choice but to reveal the truth to Agathiyan.....
He ought to have sought Agathiyan's assistance before becoming ensnared in that web and confronting it solo for a year. However, once Agathiyan was involved, he leveraged his connections to exonerate Bairavan from all allegations. Agathiyan sought help from his uncle to navigate the legal complexities and discovered loopholes that allowed for the case to be closed with ease. Mugilan took on the role of Bairavan's lawyer. Ultimately, he was protecting his daughter without her being aware of it.
Umaiyazh have no idea about all the complexities created....and Bairavan's promotion was stopped for next 5 years...
He finally joined back to work 6 months back, and how Agathiyan and Mugilan finished off this issue in a snap made him even more conscious about himself and that kind of made him insecure.....
He shouted at her knowingly and asked her to leave, anticipating the consequences of that incident. He thought that after resolving all the problems, he would return to her and apologize for his outburst. Even though he hadn't said anything too terrible, the fact that he made her cry pained him deeply, and he couldn't shake off the guilt until he sought her forgiveness.
However, the way events unfolded led to the collapse of the situation. Neither Agathiyan nor Mugilan questioned him about his relationship with Umaiyazh, focusing solely on the incident. This omission of any inquiry into matters before or after the incident only intensified his feelings of guilt.....Their trust in her made him rethink his decision....
Can he protect her like that? can he love her like that? can he give her the comfort ?
The answer he got is No
And he began to accept that his initial standpoint was correct... Being strangers to each other is a good thing... He resolved not to return to her, allowing her to perceive him as an insensible, stone-hearted man, and to truly move on from him.
