(Please stop, Amma. Why are you doing all of this? Nothing that serious happened)
Umaiyazh asked blocking her mother from moving out with her bag........
"Ena nadakanum....Un appa tha solitar la ena kelamba soli inum naa ethuku inga irukanum"
(What else is there to happen?.....your father told me to leave, then why should I stay here? )
"Amma....appa enga apdi sonar"
(When did appa said like that)
"En ponnu virupathuku ethira irukavangala pathi enaku kavala ila avanga tharalama edatha kali panalam na ena artham enaiyum en kudumbathaiyum thane solrar avaru"
(He stated that he doesn't care about anyone who opposes his daughter's wishes, and they can leave this place immediately. Does this mean he is asking me and my family to leave?)
Geethanjali said wiping her tears with the back of her hands.....
"Maa....apo ithu un kudumbam ilaiya???"
(Maa...isn't this your family?)
Shiva asked his mother, taking the bag from her hand. She glared at Mugilan, who by now hadn't even glanced her way. Shiva looked from his father to his mother and sighed, turning his gaze to his sister.....
Aadhiran and Aadharsh, accompanied by their wives, went to their school friend's son's wedding reception. Meanwhile, Mugilan returned from a case hearing to discover his daughter in an argument with her mother. Upon learning the reason, he sided with his daughter, as he was already familiar with Bairavan and had sought Agathiyan's opinion, who held Bairavan in high regard, leading to his easy agreement.
The argument escalated, and as Geethanjali's brother's family got involved, it further fueled his anger. He declared that anyone who had issues with his daughter marrying the one she loved should leave Revathi Illam immediately. Geethanjali took this to heart and resolved to depart with her maternal relatives.
"Attha....mama ungala solala atha nenga konjam konjam porumaiya irunga....kovathula thapana mudiva edukatheinga"
(Attha(MIL)....Mama(FIL) didn't ask you to leave. Please calm down. You are angry, so try not to make any hasty decisions right now.)
Meenu told Geethanjali that she and Anu had helped her to sit on the sofa, while Thugil handed her a water bottle. Agathiyan and Aadhavan, who had just arrived, observed the scene, and Thalir, upon noticing them, approached and provided the context of the events that had transpired in their absence........
Agathiyan and Aadhavan moved towards Mugilan....Aadhavan started

"Leave it, Aadhava. If they want to leave, let them. They never had any issues with status, caste, or money when our marriage happened. Even though they come from a lower-middle-class family, Revathi Illam never made her feel inferior or mentioned status. Now, suddenly, status matters to them. She doesn't know my Ammi and Periyamma; it's better for her. If they were here, she wouldn't dare to belittle someone over their financial status or caste. For heaven's sake, the woman after whom this mansion is named was an orphan who renounced a vast fortune to live as such. Both my Perima and Amma never sought a single penny of the family wealth. My Akka, the sole heir, never flaunted it......This house has never supported those who are money-minded... and I do not wish for any tarnished reputation to befall this home's legacy.
