Chapter 5

I entered class with my bag of silver coins taking a seat near the window one again "Ok let's see everyone's assignments" Teacher said staring at Belsach first who shrugged " Belsach" teacher said silence "didn't do it" he sighed "The twins" he looked at them "we sold it" Gilliu said "and got money" Mayron finished the sentence "Larane" teacher sighed I guessed he had been hoping for something better "I had it made into charcoal of course I had to pay the people that helped me in the end I made five bronze coins" Larane explained "Excellent" Teacher nodded his head then looked at me "Rossetti?" "I had it carved into a toy and sold it I paid the workers of course in the end I got four silver" I replied "that's good" Teacher seemed to have more hopes "lastly Florentia did you finish the task?" Teacher looked at her with an unsure gaze "yes I did Teacher!" She said proudly "then where is the money?" He asked "here" she pointed to an emerald brooch on her dark green dress "I got it carved as well and sold it the recipient was really happy of course I paid a reasonable compensation to the person in charge of the sculpture "

"YOUR LYING!" Belsach screamed pointing at Tia "who would give such a jewellery for a peice of wood! Your lying by bringing Uncles stuff!"  "The recipient of the sculpture is grandfather so you can confirm it with him" Tia shrugged Belsach stood there shaking and angry.

The rest of the class went on with no problems and at the end I walked out after brothers like always we chatted when Tia walked past "can we play a game?" I had been asking "no I can't be bothered" Mayron sighed "Tia!" Gilliu exclaimed running of to Tia "Tia play with us!" Mayron said

'Play with her but not with me?' I thought "sure let me just put some stuff back" Tia smiled I frowned and huffed to myself'then I'll just go to the Library and read a book! I don't need to play with stupid brothers anyways there boring!'

I walking down the hall passing stairs and familiar doors and statues that filled up the blank spots making my way to the large wooden brown doors with gold ebbed in it. I opened the door nodding to the guards as I saw the old library man "hello" I smiled "ah Lady Rossetti" The library man smiled "it's good to see you again have you come to borrow a book?" I nodded walking to the tall shelf's 'book's about etiquette I won't let Auntie Seral judge me again!'

Taking it off the shelf I sat in the corner reading for a short while but it began to get quite boring I already knew most of this stuff. When greeting keep your back straight and bow the salad fork dinner fork soup spoon dinner spoon goblet with water red wine cup white wine cup the table setting how to use everything elegantly I sighed closing the book I was bored I wanted to play with Gilliu and Mayron even big sister Tia maybe I should go find them and ask no wait I haven't seen grandfather today! I stood up instantly 'if he has no work maybe he'll have tea with me!' I put the book back and walked out heading towards grandfathers office-

Something was weird... Knights there not Lombardy knight they had red uniforms and black capes. This didn't make any sense and why are they on this floor?

"Boil her if you get down on your knees and beg I might just spare you" A demanding voice boomed just down the hall

'what's going on?' Three knights stood in front covering my view "excuse me!" I exclaimed everyone paused turning to me "what is going on here why are you all in front if grandfathers office?" I asked tilting my head some guards moved aside letting me through.

Big brothers and Big sister Tia were surrounded by knights maids and a young boy with golden blond hair and a smug look on his face "who are you?" He asked glaring at me "I'm Rossetti Schulz Lombardy your highness the first prince" I bowed "so you know who I am" he chuckled "of course who wouldn't notice the imperial knights on the first floor of the Lombardy mansion" I frowned "may I ask what's going on?"

The prince looked at me and sighed "you two get rid of these three-" "Don't touch them!" Tia pulled me away and next to my brothers "you know the pact between the imperial family and the Lombardy" she said quickly then glared at the knights "you dare touch Lombardy's descendants and still be safe from it" the knights hesitated I could tell big sister was trying to think of a plan but when she turned her head it was like she had just seen hope.

She walked up to the crown prince buried her face in her hands "what is it do you thing crying will solve!"the prince began Tia looked up at him and smiled as tears ran down her cheeks "what is it!?" The prince exclaimed when a large voice shouted

"What are you doing in Lombardy!"

I turned it was grandfather 'so that's what Tia is planning' I thought with wide eye's 'she saw grandfather and the others'

"H-Head" the not so smug now a little panicked prince stammered Mother was angry as she glared at the guards

"get out of the way" she demanded and they instantly did as she made her way towards us embracing Gilliu Mayron and me into a hug "are you alright any injuries?" She asked looking at us three carefully

"we're ok! Tia protected us!" Mayron explained "that bad guy was telling Tia to kneel down" Gilliu said

"I heard him say boil her" I pointed out "ok" mother hugged us one more time. "Thank you Tia you must have been very surprised" Mother looked at a still fake crying Florentia "ah n-no I-I'm fine" she stammered.

"That's very respectable Gallahan raised you well" Mother wiped away her tears "However it's understandable when"

Mother glared at the first prince

"N-No! SHES FAKING RIGHT NOW-" the prince exclaimed "First prince DO YOU KNOW NOTHING ABOUT LOMBARDY'S PLEDGE!" Grandfather yelled angrily "I-I heard that there's only one place in this empire where the imperial knights can't step but that's impossible since father wouldn't allow something like that to happen-" The first prince said

"Jovanas didn't make the pledge it was made by his ancestors!" Grandfather glared at him "how dare you say fathers name so casually-" The first prince got cut off once again "You haven't raised the Ignorant Prince properly he knows nothing about the pledge or his ancestors!" Grandfather yelled the maids shivered bowing.

"sorry!" They chorused "with this I could have protested against the royal family but I'll let it be as a mistake just this once"

"That's all because of her she refused my order to pick up my hat!" The first prince exclaimed

"first prince I suggest you stop here since his majesty won't be happy if he hears about this" the elder looking maid whispered the first prince turned his face red with embarrassment

"keuk" he was taken aback "these useless things! Fine let's go I don't want to be in this place anymore!" The prince yelled as he walked down the hall way

'dumb prince I wonder if the second prince is any better' I thought with a click of my tongue

"Florentia" Grandfather turned to Big sister Tia who looked up to face him then at mother me and the twins she frowned and looked at the floor "yes grandfather please do say" she said probably expecting to get yelled at.

'Will she?' I thought 'she didn't do anything it's the first princes fault he caused a ruckus over a hat...'

Big sister clenched her dress as grandfather patted her head she was shocked it was all over her face

"well done Florentia you don't have to listen to the first prince a Lombardy should act a Lombardy in front of others" Grandfather said I smiled at that Big sister Tia is cool no wonder big brothers like her more than me I would have stumbled over my words and end up getting punished or bowing to the first prince.

"I'm going back to the office take care of Florentia" Grandfather turned to mother "that's right come here Florentia you must have been shock" Mother called her over big sister snapped out of her trance "yes Auntie" she said.
