When Gahyeon made her way to visit Insomnia Kingdom for an unauthorized business trip the last thing she expected was to get thrown into prison. Let alone get locked up with a vampire accompanying her cell.
Though rest assured the cell was spacy. It was a lot bigger than she had expected, considering the town was relatively small in size and numbers. What would they need such a big prison for? Not only was the room wide, but had high walls too. Windows adorned the high dungeon like walls, way too high to be reached. But at least they were getting some fresh air and sunlight, right?
There wasn't much in the cell. A door and a bed on either side as well as laboratory facilities, both sides were separated by a white line taped to the floor. Odd. Gahyeon thought. What's a line gotta do? Stop her from killing that beast of a vampire on the other side? Hell, nah.
She struggled against the hold the officer had on her escorting her to her doom, but only managed to shake herself free once they had reached the cell. Now all she could do was watch his muscled back as he quickly went out the door, to freedom. Gahyeon went to bang against the door, now firmly shut, and yelled, demanding to be let out. "Don't none of you know who I am?" She growled under her breath. She was the princess, daughter of king Maddox, ruler of all seven kingdoms. How dare they lock her up!
The girl on the other side, fangs bared, seemed to fare no different, trashing against her guard. Ha! Talking about equality. While the girl stumbled to the floor with the force her arrester had pushed her in, Gahyeon at least had kept her stance (and hopefully grace) by remaining on her feet. Though she couldn't keep herself from balling her hands into fists at the sight of the monster in front of her, etiquette be damned.
"Well, look what we have here." The vampire groaned, pushing herself off the ground, staggering slightly and wiping some blood from her mouth. God knows if it's her own blood or that of a victim. For all Gahyeon cared, it could be either.
"If that ain't the princess herself."
Gahyeon scoffed, her nails now pinching into her own skin by how hard her fists were balled. "Of course that's the detail you're focusing on."
"Easily angered. Got it." The girl snickered as she lifted herself off the floor, dusting off her clothes, her voice only half as serious as it probably should be in this kind of situation. "Well, you're the one who was asking if anyone knew who you are. I'm just providing an answer." She shrugged in such a nonchalant way, it drove Gahyeon nuts.
"I'm glad you're enjoying this. But I for one am not." She shot back, her pure anger mixing up with an enormous scoop of annoyance.
The vampire lazily held up both her hands like she was being arrested, which was kind of ironic to begin with. "Don't blame the player. Blame the game, princess."
"So, this is all a game for you, vampire?" Gahyeon snarled.
The vampire smirked, perfectly displaying her fangs. "Kinda, yeah."
Gahyeon stared at them for a few seconds, reminding herself that these were just as vicious as any other weapon she had learned to fight with. If not even more dangerous. She didn't bother to answer, deciding it was best to just ignore that monster.
That proved to be difficult though since her lack of reaction caused the other to talk again. "Fine, what else should I be focusing on then?" The girl tilted her head. Out of curiosity or mockery Gahyeon didn't know. She also didn't care.
"How about that we're locked up and that I'm about to kill you, vampire." Gahyeon finally pushed out through gritted teeth.
The vampire had the audacity to laugh. "You? Killing me? I'd like to see you try, princess."
