chapter 3

A/N : i know , the last chapter was quite small, but it was important, and i could not mix it with the previous chapter. so here is chapter 3. enjoy, and please VOTE !

Alex POV.
How heartless can a person be? To beat the shit out of an innocent girl, and leaving her at the side of a road dying. After what the doctor said, one thing was clear, that she might lose her memory, I don't really know how people react when they lose their memory, I have just seen it in movies.
after Darren ran out, being the chicken he was to not able to listen more, the doctor kept going on.
"in a miraculous condition, she should be conscious in a week, after the blood is regained in her body, for now we can only hope" he finished. And I was finally filled with some hope.
"Thank you doctor" and I left .
a rock tune started playing on my phone,
"hey Tessa" I said, trying to sound normal.
"where are you ! it is already early morning and you're not even answering your calls, I was so scared, you said you'll be back by 12 !"
ohh god, I forgot to inform her !! shoot !!
" I'm sorry Tessa, it was an emergency, I'll come back and tell you."
" when are you coming ?" she asked.
"in 15 " I said. And hung up.
I went to the waiting room, to let Darren know about it, and then I left for home, but I'll come back later, to check on her.

"so you found her at the side of the road ?" Tessa asked with wide eyes, and I just nodded.
" what kind of an asshole that guy is !!!! what was his name ? darvin ?"
"Darren"
"yeah, right" she said and scrunched her face.
"I don't know, but when I saw that face, she was so beautiful , and all I knew is that I wanted to protect her, and then, after knowing that , Darren was the his only family, and he was so careless, I thought that, I want to be with her, I want to take care of her" I sighed, I was so confused.
"is this is what they call, love at first site ?" Tessa said.
"what ! I don't love her ! " ofcourse this can't be love, I haven't even talked to her.
"I know, but you are interested, aren't you?" she asked.
"Yeah, that I am" I sighed.

Darren POV.

"Carmen, she is in the hospital and she's dying for god's sake, grow up !!! I can't and I will not come to your place !!!"
I was So frustrated !! el was here because of me, and carmen wanted me to attend the dinner with her family tonight. Why does she have to be such a bitch, when it comes to el ?
" but we decided today, and mom and dad are going to be there, how am I supposed to cancel it ?"
"el is my family, and I will not leave her"
"ohh, so I am not ?" she snapped.
"now I did'nt say that !"
"you so did !! fine don't come" she sobbed.
there goes the tears.
I sighed.
its been 2 weeks, and el has shown no signs of recovery , Alex is always around her, I have no idea why, maybe he just wants to make sure,
" okay, ill come. But just for dinner, and then I'll come back to the hospital, okay ?" I said.
She huffed at that but agreed anyway, I don't thinka dinner will take much time. I hope so. ****************

 Alex POV :

 2 weeks,

 2 weeks since I found a girl lying on the side of an empty street.
 2 weeks, since I am coming to this hospital, just to sit beside her.
 what's wrong with me ? why am I even here ? ,
 I think to myself.just then, I feel a movement.
 I know it was a movement !! it was Eliza !!but it never happened again, just when Istarted thinking that I must have imagined it, she moved her hand again.
 Andthis time I saw it !
 "doctor !! doctor !" I shouted, and rang the bell, they came in just then."doctor, she moved, she really did, twice, I saw it" I rushed.

"okay, please wait outside, we will check upon it"he said, and I went out.
   after about half an hour, the dooropened."congratulation's she is conscious now, her condition is still weak, but shewill get better, it will take some weeks ,maybe months. She needs attentionright now, she is moved right now.she is asking for you." He said.
 I couldn't explain how happy I was. Itseemed like the best news I have ever heard in my life. I was so happy, that Idin't even realize, the meaning of 'she is asking for you'I realized it once I got in the room. That it means she is asking for Darren.I silently, went in and saw her. Her hazel eyes, like marbles , so beautiful,met mine.
"excuse me, can you call Darren in please, is he alright ? please let him in, Iam shure he is waiting outside, why am I here ? what is wrong ?" she panicked.I did not know where Darren was, he just told me he would be back later.
 "hello ? is everything alright ? how'seliza ?" he said, when I called him.
 I was too happy to be rude to him.

"guess who just woke up ?"

I wonder how she would react when she will meet ren.
