ELIZA POV:

Its been a week, i am in the hospital.
the doctors seem to love me, they just don't let me go.
they say, my internal conditions are not well yet.
but today, am so happy.
i'm finally going home.
my lonely little home.
yeah, i live alone.
i was 7 years old when i came to California, with my mom.
she died 4 years ago.
it's just, i loved her a lot. After my dad, she was my rock, she gave me everything I need, also left a huge bank balance for me behind.
Darren and i , met on a trek trip when i was 13.
since then we turned out to be best friends.
soon after Darren's dad died, I was his rock and he was mine.
somewhere around that period i realised my feelings towards him.
it's since then i have loved him. Sure he can be a douche at times, but he is my Ren.
Alex has been around the whole week. Getting me something or the other,but his cool attitude is sometimes quite irritating, I guess he just thinks to himself whereas Darren, he speaks first and then , nah, he doesn't even give a second thought to it,
i wonder what's taking them so long.
just then i hear the door open, and both of the goofs come in.
"you'll are gone since three hours !! what were you'll doing !" i huffed.
Alex had a blank face, but Darren just chuckled.
"i had been home, and Alex was collecting the documents, now come-on, get your ass up from that bed we have to go home." Darren said, cutting the topic.
i narrowed my eyes at them, trying to figure something out, and Alex gave me a smirk, i wonder why ?

"finally !, i was so bored in the hospital,i hate hospitals !" i said as we were in the parking lot of my building.
as we parked our car. Darren jumped out of the car and ran through the door, leaving me confused behind.
i looked at Alex, and he tried to put a confused look.
i laughed, " is this some plan ?"
Alex just shrugged.
as I was standing right outside my door
i felt someone closing my eyes, it was Alex of course.
" so you have planned something !"
i heard him chuckle, and then the door's opened.
and there stood my goof-ball, with a tiara on his head, a whistle in his mouth.
the whole floor was covered with white and baby pink balloons , and there was a huge poster in the wall that said, " WELCOME HOME, EL"
and then suddenly our whole gang came out shouting, "welcome home !!"
and i couldn't help but smile widely at them.
i jumped and hugged Ren.
"thank you" i whispered.
"now, now, we have discussed this before" Ren frowned. He hates when i thank him, for anything.
i just chuckled.
"welcome home Eliza, the gang was so incomplete without you" Cole said , as he picked me up and twirled me around.
"helloooo ?? put her down we are in the line to wish her" i heard Madison say.
as i looked over, and chuckled to see that everyone was standing in a que to wish me.
"welcome sweetheart !" Madison said, handing me a box of dark chocolates.

"Yayy... i just have to hide it from Ren you know" i said.
"i heard it" Ren said.
"ohh no, now i won't be able to have it on my own !" i pouted and everyone started laughing.
Clair and Andy gave me big bear hugs,
and showed me the pictures they had taken, when i was sleeping in my hospital bed, like a baby.
at the corner of my eye i saw Alex standing with an amused smile. I went over to him, and pulled his arm.
"guys ! this is Alex. My saviour" i said.
And i guess i saw him flush a little.
" hey man ! really cool of you !" said cole. Alex just smiled.

The party went on, with all the gang filling me with everything that was going on, when i was lying unconscious.

"... And then maddy was so tired , she slept on the car roof, and i was finding her all over the street" said Cole, and we all started laughing all over again at a very embarrassed Madison.
"shut up already !" she muttered.
after when we all were enjoying our pizzas, Alex came by my side and tugged my arm.
"what's wrong Alex ?" i asked.
and that's when i saw his hand. He had a glass of water and some meds,
my meds.
i smiled warmly at him,
he is really caring, it's just been a week i know him, but it is just so easy to be around him, to feel secure when he is with me.
"thanks a lot for looking after me so much" i thought i should say something.
"Darren told me you love thanking people. I see it now" was all he said.
i just rolled my eyes.
"a welcome would have been enough" i said after taking the meds.
"welcome" he smiled.
and then i was dragged again by someone. This time it was maddy.
"this Alex guy seems to like you" was how she started.
"no, he doesn't he just cares for me, and i think he already has a girlfriend" i said shrugging.
"ohh yeah ? how did you know ? " she asked.
"he keeps on talking to some girl, her name is , um, tessa i guess." I said.
"ohh sad ! he is hot but, you can finally get over Ren" she said.
yeah, she was the only one who knew about my secret crush on Ren.
" i don't think that's going to happen." I sighed.
"you should seriously leave him, he is dating Carmen, how much more low can he get than this ?" she said.
"yeah, i know it's time to become the bitch. No place for cute innocent girl waiting for love to come. If he doesn't love me i'm going to make him love me." I say with determination.
i actually didn't know what i'm saying till i saw the proud reaction on Madison's face.
" woah girl ! i'm so proud of you ! you do that ! my best wishes." she hugged me.
"yeahh..." i said unsure.
just then i heard, Darren speak something.
"guys ! guys !,
so eliza here is your bumper surprise.
i'm taking you to a surprise trip, to
Thailand ! ,
we are going to my uncle's beach house.
on which, Alex and Carmen are accompanying us."he said.
at this my face fell, what ? why is Carmen coming with us ?
"why the hell is Carmen coming with us ? " i realized i said it too loud, when Darren stopped talking and looked at me.
" why can't she come ? " Darren asked.
"Because it is MY surprise trip ?" i countered.
"on which Alex is coming" he stated.
"that's because i invited him" i said.
"so I invited Carmen" he said casually.
i felt Madison soothing my back by making circles.
"okay" was all i said.
there goes my plan, and my so called 'surprise' trip.
