I was just about to switch my night lamp off, when my phone buzzed again.

Unknown: should always keep one light on in the dark.

Its been two days, and I did not get any more messages from that creep.
That night I just kept on tossing and turning on my bed. I closed all the windows shut, as I thought maybe he can see me. But of course he was playing with me.
We are all setting up for the college fair. I being the president of the fine-art department, have a loads of work to do. But first I've got to talk to someone.
"Cole !" I said.
"Yeah ? wassup!"
"You are going with Madison tonight at the club, Alex gave the passes remember?" I asked.
"Uhm no, I didn't ask maddy yet. I don't think she'll come." Said Cole.
"You really love her don't you?" I said. I knew this since a very long time, but I thought to let them figure out.
"I don't know what are you talking about." He said, blushing a bit.
I rolled my eyes.
"You should tell her you know." I said.
"And you should tell Daren." He said.
That shut me up.
Yeah, I love Daren, or maybe 'loved' him. But I am afraid to say anything .All these our relationship is like 'best buddies' and I think bringing my emotions in between, will mess it all up.
"Its- its different." I shook my head.
"how?" he asked.
He was right, it was no different. Cole too wanted to preserve his relation with Madison.
But she loves him too! She will never accept it but she does.
"Hers a deal, If you tell it to Madison, what you feel about her, I'll tell it to Daren." I said.
He looked taken aback. He remained silent for a while, and then nodded.
"Deal. But if anything goes wrong with us, the plan was yours." He said.
"yeah, whatever." I said and walked away.
walking back, It struck me, What did I just do?!!
Will I be able to tell him, that I was in love with all these years?
Will he reciprocate my feelings?
Will he turn me down?
Will I be rejected by my best friend?
"You look as if you've seen a ghost." Alex laughed seeing me.
I took a deep breath, leaving it to the future.
"I better get going, I have a lot of work to do. I'll meet you in the cafe later." I said.
My phone buzzed,
Unknown: Maybe he will reject you.
My eyes widened. Ho-how did he know? what I was just thinking ?
ME: Are you some creep, who is following me? Just tell me because I've had enough of it, from some months.
It was enough. I couldn't take any more of it. I already have many problems, to start with. And this person is just another pain.
Unknown : I know exactly what happened to you from 'some months'. I must say, you did justice to Aldric.
Me: Aldric ?
Unknown: The person who tried to kill you.
He knew him?!!
How am I suppose to react to this?
Yaa thank you, it was just in the spur of the moment.
Or how do you know his name is Aldric? Are you related to him.
I decided to go with the later one.
ME: so you are related to him?
Unkown: Just out of curiosity, I decided to take pains about him too. I just know where he is at present. Thats all.

ME: So you are, a creep.

Unkown: If you say so. But the man you saw last night, wasn't exactly happy to see you.
I almost fell from my seat.
  That man is related too!!
ME: Is this some twisted game? Look, If you text me again, I will straight through go to the police, and get this number out. Its a warning.

Unknown: you wouldn't. your friends are precious to you, aren't they?

He is using my friends against me. I don't know a thing about this man. How powerful he is? or this is just some funny prank. Because if it is, its not actually funny.

Just as I turn, I would have missed it, if I would have turned a moment later. I see him.
The man from the Ice-cream shop !
Is-is he the creep?
I keep my eyes down, and he turns his back on me, walking out. I quickly follow behind him.
He walks towards the parking area of the college. Thank god, My car was just a couple of cars behind him. I followed his car, keeping a little distance.

After about a good half hour of driving, I enter a totally unknown place. It is like the ancient California. Big, two storey houses, painted blue and white, gravel streets, I guess we're on the outskirts of the town. His car comes to a hault, and I stop mine at a distance behind a huge tree. I see him rushing inside that house. And I rush to the back of that house, and I see a window. I squat to hide myself from the view, but just enough so that I can see what's going on. The man comes into view. And there is another man, sitting on a sofa chair, only his head visible to me. Probably smoking cigar, as I see fit of smoke rise infront of his head.

The man came rushing in, and screamed.
"It's HER! It's really her. I checked her college records, looks like she didn't her name."
"Are you sure that its Amy?"The other man asked in a formal tone.
He simply nodded.
My eyes were huge as saucers, Di-did he call me Amy ?
I don't really get this.
Amy was what my mom loved to call me. I found it strange, but It was like a second name to me. But ONLY she called me that. Never in public, did she ever utter that name. Only when we here alone, together, she called me that.
Not a soul knew about this name, not even Daren.
How did this person know ?
I felt the man getting up from his sofa chair, and coming towards the window.

My eyes widen.
