Chapter 1: An Interesting Girl

On the bright sunny day in HoloSantos, a blue-haired girl with an open varsity jacket and black tank top was casually driving around the city. Her eyes contained her boredom as she constantly scanned the city, trying to find something of interest. However, the dull suburbs and city folks provided her with nothing of the sort.

She let out her annoyance with a sigh, "Haaa... What should I do, I wonder~ Should I just go to a convenience store again?"

But even the idea didn't seem that amusing to her. It was akin to opening and closing the fridge in hopes of finding something interesting, despite knowing full well what's inside. Her mind couldn't come up with something else to do, and she didn't have anyone that could relieve her boredom. Although she knew some people, none of them were the kind that she would hang out with on a whim. As a result, she could only complain by herself.

"This sucks... Oh?"

In the midst of complaining, her eyes caught sight of a girl walking by the sidewalk. Her blue off-shoulder minidress pulled her eyes in, contrasting against her long brown hair. The way her round, brown eyes were constantly looking left and right around the city in awe made her look like a clueless cat. It was an interesting sight compared to the boring city folk that she'd gotten used to.

"What a funny-looking girl," she mused to herself with a smirk before pulling up her car next to the clueless girl.

The blue-haired girl rolled down her window and asked with a friendly smile."Hey, lady! Are you lost?"

The clueless girl appeared taken aback by the sudden call. "Ah! You're talking to me? Um, I'm not lost or anything like that! I'm just sightseeing around the city," she replied.

"Sightseeing? Ahaha, that's pretty funny!"

The blue-haired girl couldn't help but let out a laugh at her response. The idea that someone would go sightseeing in this city was simply too funny for her.

The clueless girl looked confused by her reaction. "Eh? Was there something strange with what I said?" she asked.

The blue-haired girl reassured her, "Ah, no. It's just that your answer was too interesting. You're new around this place, aren't you?"

"Huh? Yes, how did you know?"

"Well, you just have the air of someone that I don't normally see around here," the blue-haired girl answered.

"Eeeh? T-Thank you, hehe."

The clueless girl continued to reply in embarrassment, seemingly taking the blue-haired girl's remark as praise. The way she held her cheek and blushed innocently attracted the blue-haired girl's interest. Before she realized it, she couldn't take her eyes off of her.

'Ah, I finally found someone interesting.'

After making up her mind, she finally asked the clueless girl, "Hey, do you wanna go to the convenience store with me?"

"M-Me?" she replied in surprise.

"Yeah. I'm just dying of boredom right now, and you seem pretty fun to hang out with. Won't it be fun to have a chat while we go around for a while?"

"Um, I don't know about this..."

The blue-haired girl continued to persuade her, "Come on, let's just go for a quick drive to the convenience store with me! I'll drive you back here when we're done. It's much more fun to talk with someone that knows the place than just walking around by yourself aimlessly, right?"

"I guess so... O-Okay then!"

The clueless girl was finally won over by her persuasion and hopped into the blue-haired girl's car. Her heart raced from doing something that she'd never done before, but she couldn't help but get excited by it.
