⋆.˚ 𝟮 𝗞𝗜𝗗𝗦 𝗥𝗢𝗢𝗠. hyunjin x mizu

hyunjin strutted into the room, wondering who will he be spending time with in this recording session. as soon as his eyes landed on mizu, who is sitting on the couch, he quicken his pace and started hugging her.

"mizu-ya! are you excited to see me?" he proudly asks, messing up her hair in the progress. "oh wow..." mizu muttered, scrunching her face as she let him mess up her hair. even though hyunjin wasn't her ideal person to be recording with, she hoped that he will behave throughout the session.

"oh, don't give me that look." hyunjin whined in a playfully manner. he stopped messing up her hair, and instead moved his hands down to hold hers. one of his legs was draped lazily over her leg, and he placed his head onto her shoulder, almost like a pillow.

"who would've thought they'd put us together, huh..?" hyunjin said, playing with her fingers in his own hands. "not me. actually." she answered him, trying to push him away but he was being too clingy.

"oh come on... you know you secretly like this. quit acting so annoyed." hyunjin laughed at her response, finding it rather cute that she seemed rather annoyed by how clingy he was being. he didn't let her push him away though. he instead pulled her into a tighter hug, his chin resting on her shoulder now. hyunjin nuzzled his head into the crook of mizu's neck, his warm breaths fanning over her skin.

"hyunjin!" mizu whined as she kept squirming in his arms. she turned her head to frown at him. the smug look on hyunjin's face making mizu more irritated by the second.

hyunjin turned his head as well. he was now only a few inches away from her face, and when he saw that she was frowning at him, he pouted in return. "why're you always pushing me away, love? you just... don't want to show how much you like this, huh?"

"hyunjin, you have approximately ten seconds to let me go or i'll call chan." mizu threatened him, glaring into his eyes. he knows that chan will come in this room in a heartbeat if she told him that someone is bothering her. in fact, everyone knows.

hyunjin's eyes widened when she threatened him. he let out a deep chuckle before rolling his eyes in an overly dramatic manner.

"i— really? you're really going to pull the: 'i'll call chan' card? oh how cruel, my love." he sighed loudly, over dramatic as always, before letting go of mizu and sitting upright on the couch.

"stop calling me that." mizu stared at him and gave him the side-eyes. their usual banter was always never-ending but hyunjin smirked, knowing fully well that mizu hates it when he called her pet names.

"no. you secretly love it, don't deny it." he said confidently with a smirk on his face, leaning back on the couch and resting his head in his hand, as he looked at her.

"you look beautiful by the way..." hyunjin said in a low voice as he looked at mizu, trying to get a reaction out of her. mizu lips were slightly apart as she looked at him in disbelief. hyunjin chuckled, finding her reaction adorable as mizu turned to the camera and shook her head. "this is going to be a long recording session..."

if he wasn't so scared of getting told off by chan, he would've just kept flirting with her by now, but he had to behave for the cameras.
