While Aanya was trying to heal, Meera wasn't doing much better. Breaking up with Aanya hadn't been easy—it had been the hardest thing Meera had ever done. And as the days passed, she started to wonder if she had made a terrible mistake.

At first, Meera had tried to convince herself that walking away was the right choice. She hadn't been ready for the pressure, the scrutiny, the constant feeling that everyone was watching them, waiting for them to fail. But now, without Aanya, her life felt empty. The silence between them was deafening, and Meera couldn't shake the feeling that she had let something precious slip through her fingers.

Her friends tried to distract her with parties and late-night hangouts, but none of it filled the void. Every time she saw something that reminded her of Aanya—the coffee shop they used to study at, the park bench where they'd shared quiet conversations—her heart ached.

One night, after yet another restless evening alone, Meera found herself scrolling through old photos on her phone. There were pictures of her and Aanya—smiling, laughing, leaning into each other in that effortless way that had once felt so natural. Meera's chest tightened as she stared at those frozen moments, wondering how everything had gone so wrong.

She knew she had been scared. Scared of how much she cared for Aanya. Scared of what being with Aanya meant for her future. But now, the fear of losing Aanya forever was far worse than any fear she had faced before.

Meera sat up in bed, her thoughts racing. She needed to see Aanya. She needed to fix this, to at least try. Because if there was even a small chance that they could make it work, Meera knew she had to take it.
