Tyrion rubbed at his temples, as he placed down the latest parchment that he had had to go over. Even though he had been Bran's Hand for a number of years now, his role always meant that there was something new to deal with. And despite the young Stark proving himself a worthy king, there would always be those that did not approve. Yet between he, the king and other members of the small council, they had managed to keep the peace that Bran's rule had brought. A peace that was giving all, lord and smallfolk alike, a better future than they could have hoped for before the war. King Landing not the same place as when Robert and then his family, had called themselves rulers of the Seven Kingdoms.

Future........there was that thought again. In the past, and at many times, the little lord knew that his future had seemed bleak. Death hanging over his head on more than one occasion. Tyrion sometimes believing that he had no future, well, unless you call drinking himself to death, a future. But that had been then. That had been when he had no one that truly cared about him, other than his brother; when the whole of the Seven Kingdoms, including his own family, seemed to think of him as nothing more than the imp, the half-man. Something to be hated....... reviled.

"Lord Hand.........." A voice came. Tyrion smiling broadly, as he looked up from his work to see (Y/n) making her way into his room.

"Master of Whispers........" The lion replied. Nodding over to the jug of wine that sat on one of the side tables. (Y/n) making her way over and filling two glasses, before making her way to Tyrion's desk. Placing one cup in front of him, before taking a seat.

"And how has your day been.........?" Tyrion continued, as the beautiful she-wolf looked at him.

"Well, since you left me this morning, your children have been keeping me busy. I swear that if you get me pregnant again, Bran will find himself another Master of Whispers that doesn't have three lion cubs, that couldn't whisper to save their lives......." (Y/n) chuckled, before taking a sip of her wine.

In the past, he had only hoped that this would happen; that he would be able to be a father. That he would be given the opportunity to prove that he could do a better job with his own offspring, than Tywin had done with him, Jaime and Cersei; yet he had always believed that it was just something else that was not meant to be. Though, that had been before (Y/n); before that night in her room when he had pulled her into a kiss. When that kiss has led to one of the best nights of his life, which had soon been followed by a marriage. A marriage that had already produced three sons; the twins, Jaime and Robb that had now seen four name days, and little Ned, that had seen two. The children of the wolf and lion, named for all the men in their lives, that they had loved and lost.

"Nonsense, my love; Bran knows how good you are at what you do, with or without our children causing chaos. And does that mean that you want to stop trying for that little girl we have spoken of........?" Tyrion retorted. (Y/n) shaking her head, as her husband gave her a suggestive look. A look that told her exactly what he was thinking about.

"A daughter that you have spoken about, you mean........I have my hands full enough as it is, with two four-year-olds that love nothing more than chasing one another around the Keep with the wooden swords that a certain Master of Coins gifted to them; that, along with the word 'fuck' which they seemed to have been gifted by him, too. This morning, I told them I would send them to join Jon and would get Tormund to eat them if they used that word again, and all they did was cheer. They are as incorrigible as you. The only saving grace is little Ned is too small for a training sword; but I am sure that Bronn will see to that, when he is........." The she-wolf countered; doing her best to look stern, but that was one thing that she struggled to be, when it came to her husband and children. The life that she had now, the one that she had dreamt of since she had come to join Bran in Kings Landing; Tyrion proving to be a better husband, her sons a greater gift, than she could ever dreamed of.

"Well..........." The diminutive lord continued, as he got down from his chair and made his way around the desk, to his wife. (Y/n) still doing her best to not smile, as her husband slowly pushed up her skirts and moved her legs apart, so that he could position himself, between them. A huge grin coming to his lips when he saw that his wife was not wearing her small clothes.

"We could perhaps keep practicing for a fourth son, then. It would appear that that was what you had in mind when you came here, my love......." Tyrion hummed, as he leant in and kissed her. A gasp leaving (Y/n), as his fingers found her womanhood.

"I like the idea of more practice.........yet as far as another child is concerned; we will just have to see what the Gods and the future, decide.........." She hummed, her head dropping back as Tyrion's lips moved down her neck and then to the tops of her breasts. Her husband nodding his head in agreement, before he slowly made his way down her body, until his head disappeared between her legs. Tyrion not minding whether all their practice led to another son, a daughter, or nothing at all; for now, he knew that, thanks to the woman that he loved, his future was brighter than anything that he could ever have hoped for.
