Now there are no angels in GoT, but in the Faith of the Seven, the stars are considered the daughters of the Mother and Father Above, and act as watchers in the sky. So, for this, I am going to have it that the stars are watchers over mortals, a little like guardian angels. Hope that makes sense 😊

Tyrion poured himself yet another drink; a drink that most certainly wouldn't be his last for the day. He had always been one to try and drink away his problems; to drown the traumas of his life in copious amounts of good.....or even bad wine. But here in Pentos, after he had killed Shae, his own father. After he had been stuck in that stinking crate for over a week, while he and Varys escaped across the Narrow Sea; he forced to shove his shit through the few air holes that allowed him to breath, Tyrion had sunk deeper into the bottle. He no longer giving a damn about anything. The world could go and fuck itself, as far as he was concerned; and so could Vary, if he didn't like it.

"What are you doing...........?" Someone asked. Tyrion not even bothering to look up from the red liquid in his glass, at the sound of the soft voice.

"What does it look like........?" The gruff reply came. The youngest lion not really interested in exchanging pleasantries with anyone, even if their voice did sound that beautiful. He preferring the notion of sinking further and further into the quagmire of his own guilt and self-loathing.

"It looks to me as if you are wasting your life..........?" The remark causing anger to flare within Tyrion. He turning, about to give the woman; whom he presumed to be a maid of Illyrio Mopatis wife, a piece of his mind. About to tell her that she knew nothing; and even if she did, what he did with his own life, was nothing to do with her. But as he turned his gaze from his cup, Tyrion found himself having to cover his eyes, as the space around him suddenly filled with a bright light. He only able to move his arm away from his face, once the light began to dim; the diminutive lord feeling his heart begin to race violently inside his chest, as there before him appeared a woman of such unrivalled beauty, he was sure that she couldn't be real. His eyes lingering for a moment on her form that was clad in a fine white gossamer gown that appeared to shimmer in the Pentos sun.

"Who.......who are you.......? What.....what are you......?" Tyrion managed to ask, as she took a set next to him on the wall and looked out over the garden. He now sure that whatever she was, she was certainly no simple lady's maid.

"I do not know if you would believe me if I were to tell you........" She replied, before turning and reaching out, pushing one of his curled locks away from his face. The lion quickly taking her hand, before she could pull back.

"Please.....please. I need to know........" He told her. Suddenly feeling as though he knew her; that he had seen her before. Her presence oddly familiar; strangely calming.

"I can give you no name, if that is what you wish for. I......my sisters and myself, are never given them. As for what I am........I am a watcher....a star. Each one of us is given a mortal to watch over from the moment that they are born, until the day they pass. I......I was given you, Tyrion Lannister. And I have been with you from the moment you left your mother's womb......" She explained. Tyrion taken aback, not knowing what to think for a moment; then he suddenly let go of her hand. His anger rising in him once more.

"So......so you watched on while my mother died; watched on as my sister, my father abused and neglected me. You watched on as I was belittled and berated; as I was accused of the death of Joffrey, betrayed by the woman I loved......and you did nothing.........?"

"Your mother's time had come, Tyrion; her death would have come about, with or without you. And as for the rest, I have no control over the hearts and minds of men; over the decisions that you and they make. I cannot force people to care when it is not in them to do so. I cannot stop them from breaking your heart......"

"Then what good are you........WHAT FUCKING GOOD ARE YOU.....?" Tyrion shouted out, grabbing for his wine cup and throwing it at the wall. The deep red liquid splashing over the pale stones.

"Have you ever wondered why you have lived as long as you have. Have you ever thought about why your father didn't take you into the Sunset Sea and drown you, when he had wanted to. Why you survived Cersei's cruelty, Tywin's contempt. Why you didn't die at the Battle of Blackwater.....why you persisted in that crate......? I was with you at all those moments, protecting you, whether you knew it or not. I have made sure that you have stayed alive so that you can fulfil your destiny; and here I am, yet again, to ensure that you do not give up. That you do not drink yourself to death and waste the life that you were given. You are worth more than this, Tyrion, whether you believe it or not. It is fine to feel guilt, but do not let it consume you. Do not let it ruin everything that you can be........"

"And what can I be.......what is this great fucking destiny......?" The youngest son of the old lion continued. Letting out a heavy sigh, as his pinched the bridge of his nose.

"Why do you care........?"

"I care, because I know you better than you know yourself. I care, because I have watched you grow, and use your abilities to your advantage. Because no matter what cruelty has come your way; underneath everything, you still have a kind heart. You are still a good man; despite how much you pretend not to be. And as for your fate........your friend, Varys, will come and speak to you soon. He will give you a choice, between a meaningless death at the bottom of a wine bottle, or a chance to help the right person rule the Seven Kingdoms. I would suggest that you do the latter......" The watcher explained, before getting to her feet. She slowly leaning down, placing a kiss to his cheek as she took to half empty bottle from his side.

"And as for this......As for death....." She pouring the wine out all over the floor.

"The Stranger can have you when he has deserved the right to take you.....and that is not now.........." A smile coming to her exquisite features as Tyrion looked up at her.

"Remember, Tyrion. I am always watching........" The bright light once more filling the expanse before she turned around and made her way towards it. The light vanishing, just before Varys found Tyrion standing there. The little lord already knowing what he would say, when the older man presented his ultimatum.
