————<3————Built hope, hope can be so easy to build up and it is so much easier to break down. The first time is always the easiest to build it up.
The first time you made that promise, you built up my hope in an instant but as time went on...you kept breaking it down, making the hope slowly fall like a tree being chopped down or a building collapsing.
Usually, it's "third times a charm" but the third time wasn't a charm and after that third time, you made me so hesitant about building it up again and trusting your words again.
After the fourth time, i began to lose that hope, all hope. you see, promising to see someone isn't something to be taken lightly...time after time and standing them up each time? it's damaging.
Now it's been six times, you stood me up. Six. Times. You build my hopes up just to shoot it down like it means...nothing at all.
Built up hopes, it can be but fast but trampled so much easier then building it, it'll just the harder to build again.
Your promises are empty promises, empty words stumble from your mouth and into my ears like they belong there, but they don't. your words are empty and meaningless.
You built up my hopes to shoot them down afterwards, i guess it's because you know how gullible i am.
How is it so easy for you to sleep knowing you build my hopes up just to fire a cannon at it.
Never again will i have built hopes, not with you, never again. thanks to you, my love.
