your head lifted from my lap & as i looked at you, you smiled at me, you smiled like i was the only thing that mattered.
"I wanna be with you forever." you said.
you were looking into my eyes as you said it, making it feel more sincere.
"What if you fall out of love?" i asked,
your smile lightly faded before you chuckled.
did i say something funny?
"It's okay, baby. I won't." you told me.
i bet you didn't know the happiness it filled me with, the utter excitement that ran through my veins at light speed.
"I promise i'll marry you," you told me, your voice was so soft and sweet, like my favorite song on repeat.
"Really?" i asked, it felt unreal that you said that.
you nodded with a smile, and i felt my cheeks warm as they get a red tint .
love is really complicated but with you, it feels like everything falls into place, we click together as if we're pieces of a puzzle.
