One Piece Of The Puzzle

We arrived at a bedroom type we entered the room to see lauren sitting on the bed watching the scream tv show ( AN love it love the movie as well as the show.) Tracy called spoke up first and said "Lauren this is Dale he would like to speak to you for a while okay?" I'll be outside if you need me ". And with that she left I noticed the tv was paused so I sat on the sear next to the bed.Lauren finally spoke after a minute of silence " What do you want? If this is about Damian". I paused for a minute and said "You know Damian?,could you tell me who he was ". Lauren had a shocked but somewhat smug look on her face before saying "She never told you did she? ".I shook my head and then I asked again more stern this time "Who is Damian?. Lauren looked up and said "Well he would have been your future brother in-law". I was in a state of shock for a minute before answering back "You're wrong Cara has no brothers or sisters! ".Lauren sighed but spoke again "They never mention him but Derek and Charity had two children Damain was one year older". I swallowed the information in and said"What happened to him ?".Lauren looked at me as if it was obovious "He died "I was about to ask more before Tracy and Mr Bickerstaff entered the room and said "Dale were where you I was looking for you?!".Before I could utter a word Lauren spoke up "He was lost and I was showing him where to go thats all".Derek seemed unsure but agreed none the less after that we were leaving the hospital Tracy ran up to me and said " If you want to learn more come back tommorrow". As soon as she said that she ran back into the hospital I looked up and saw Lauren looking down at me from her room window and with that I got in the car and headed to Mr Bickerstaff's next appointment.
