...
After some time, we finally got home and settled by the table. Hyunjin poured whiskey into glasses for Tae and himself to soothe the thirst, the amber liquid glinting under the soft kitchen light. You sat next to them, hands resting on the table, watching them quietly.
Hyunjin downed his drink in one go, setting the glass down with a heavy thud. The air between you felt thick, his mood still tense from the night. He glanced at Tae, his expression hardening into something serious. "I'll make the call. Remember what I told you? You have to ask for permission first, and you stop if they tell you to stop."
Tae nodded, his eyes glued to his glass, already calming down as the alcohol helped dull his thirst. Hyunjin took out his phone, dialing a number. His face became unreadable, the carefree teasing from earlier completely gone, replaced by something more colder.
"Hey, it's me," Hyunjin spoke into the phone, his voice low and commanding. "I need to arrange something for tonight. Someone young... early twenties, a girl." He paused, smirking at whatever response he got. "Yeah, that'll do."
"And why 'early twenties girl,' huh?" You raised an eyebrow, your irritation flaring.
Hyunjin leaned back in his chair, his smirk widening. "Because they're more willing, and they tend to enjoy it more, which makes us enjoy it even more." His eyes glinted as he glanced at Tae, who chuckled nervously, clearly relieved his thirst would be sated soon.
Your irritation deepened, as you rolled your eyes at his careless attitude. "Enjoy it?" You scoffed, feeling a surge of disgust.
Hyunjin let out a low, mocking laugh. "Oh, you'd be surprised." His tone shifted dangerously. "I told you, it's not just about the bite, Y/N. There's something... more intimate to it, more primal." He flicked his gaze back to Tae. "The arrangement is set. They'll be here in soon."
That intimacy was what bothered you. It felt... wrong. The way Hyunjin was talking about it, sent irritation through you, yet you couldn't understand why you'd care about that. You shook the thought away. "They? It's not just one girl?"
Hyunjin's grin widened, a little too wolfish for your liking. "No, it's two." He leaned closer, his voice dropping to a sultry murmur. "Why don't you come watch? Might learn something... educational."
The suggestion sent a chill down your spine, as you couldn't hide disgust. "Ew, no."
Hyunjin's expression darkened briefly, but he quickly masked it with a smirk. "Suit yourself," he said, standing up. "Tae, go take a shower. You need to clean up before they get here." He turned to you.
Tae hesitated, throwing you an apologetic glance before getting up and leaving the room.
"And as for you, if you're not going to join, then you should stay out of the way." Hyunjin said coldly, before stalking out of the kitchen.
You sighed in frustration, standing up abruptly and storming upstairs to your bedroom. There was something different about Hyunjin tonight—he wasn't his usual teasing, playful self. He had become... colder. Like he'd switched off the part of him that cared. And all of that happened since you two were in your bedroom earlier today, but it felt like a fog wrapped your mind, to remember that moment. It made you wonder if this was the real him, or if he was just hiding something. You sat on the bed, still fuming, fingers tapping impatiently on your thigh as you tried to process everything.
A while later, there was a knock on your bedroom door. Without waiting for a response, Hyunjin barged in, his expression unreadable. He leaned against the doorframe holding the door open, his eyes fixed on you. "You're upset," he stated flatly.
