WE WERE HID out by the motor homes, awaiting Lando to finish his press duties to properly congratulate him on his most recent podium finish.
Upon the podium ending, the paddock had filled to the brim with cameras and journalists, each awaiting anyone of the top three to be unlucky enough to walk out through them. So, on Max's experienced advice, we had evacuated the premises, escaping away to a more calm and secluded environment.
Tessa had gone into an almost shock response, her rambling about what we had all just witnessed only proved half of the awe she must have been in.
Max seemed best equipped when it came to her, his surprising ability to answer all of her silent questions coming in handy for this moment in particular.
