Monday came, bright and sunny. It was Neumi’s birthday, and the day of her party. Therrien stood in front of the mirror, fixing her outfit. She knew Red would be there, and it made her a little nervous.

At the same time, Red was getting ready in her own apartment. She kept thinking about seeing Therrien again after their awkward meeting on set. Her heart was beating fast, but she tried to stay calm.

The party was at a small café, decorated with balloons and colorful streamers. Friends arrived, laughing and talking. Neumi was excited, greeting everyone with a big smile. When she saw Therrien, she waved her over.

“Therrien! You’re here!” Neumi said, hugging her.

Therrien smiled. “Of course! Happy birthday!”

As the party went on, Red entered the café, looking around. When she saw Therrien, their eyes met, and everything went quiet for a second. The tension from before was still there. Neumi noticed Red and nudged Therrien, whispering, “Look who just showed up.”

Neumi waved at Red and hugged her as well. Red couldn’t help but be amazed by Therrien’s fashion sense. Therrien looked really cool—one of the reasons Red had fallen for her before.

Charla noticed Red staring at Therrien and, without hesitation, pointed it out loudly. “Hey, Red! Why are you looking at Therrien like that?” she teased.

Therrien immediately turned and looked at Red, her expression unreadable.

Red blinked, caught off guard, her face turning slightly red. “W-What? I wasn’t—” she stammered, trying to explain but couldn’t find the words.

Neumi chuckled, adding to the teasing. “Something going on here?”

Therrien, hearing her name, turned to see what was happening. Her eyes landed on Red, and for a moment, they just stared at each other. Therrien raised an eyebrow, her face calm and unreadable. “What’s up, Red? Do I have something on my face?” she asked coolly, almost challenging her.

Red quickly shook her head, feeling awkward under Therrien’s gaze. “No, nothing like that,” she mumbled, her voice quieter than usual.

Charla and Neumi exchanged amused glances, clearly enjoying the tension.

Charla spoke up, grinning widely. “Looks like Red is staring at you with all the love in the world, Therrien!” she teased, her voice playful.

Red’s cheeks flushed as she tried to defend herself. “No, I’m not!” she protested, but her voice was weak against Charla’s teasing.

Therrien crossed her arms, a smirk forming on her lips. “Oh really? Is that so, Red?” she asked, her tone light but with a hint of challenge.

Neumi laughed, clearly enjoying the moment. “Come on, Red! Just admit it!”

Caught in the spotlight, Red felt even more flustered but couldn’t help but smile a little. “Fine, maybe I think she looks cool,” she finally said, glancing away shyly.

Charla and Neumi erupted into giggles, while Therrien raised an eyebrow, amused by Red's admission.

Just then, Neumi clapped her hands, breaking the moment. “Alright, enough of this! Let’s eat! I’m starving!”

She led the way to a table, and they all sat together, excited to dig into the food. Neumi, being the foodie, quickly pointed out all the dishes they ordered. “You guys have to try this! It’s my favorite!”
