Exhausted from their intense night, the girls stumbled home, grateful to finally be free of Blackwood Manor. They laughed, sharing stories of their illusions and how Minji had fearlessly saved each of them. They all agreed to put the entire experience behind them—after all, they’d survived a haunted house together. What could possibly top that? But as they settled into their beds, a chill lingered in the air, one that none of them could shake. And while sleep found them quickly, it brought no peace.

Hanni’s Nightmare:
In her dream, Hanni found herself back in Blackwood Manor. The halls were darker, twisted, and unfamiliar. Her footsteps echoed eerily as she walked, her heart racing. She called out for her friends, but only silence answered. Then she saw it—a figure lurking in the shadows, its eyes gleaming with malice. It was not the same ghost they had encountered before. This one felt different—more dangerous.
Suddenly, the figure lunged at her, pulling her into the darkness. Hanni screamed, thrashing as the shadows swallowed her whole.
She woke up drenched in sweat, her heart pounding, but just as she was about to reach for her phone to call Minji, she realized… she wasn’t in her room. She was still in Blackwood Manor.
“This… this can’t be happening,” she whispered, fear taking root as she stood in the manor’s twisted, nightmarish version of itself.

Minji’s Nightmare:
Minji found herself standing in an endless corridor filled with mirrors, similar to Hanni’s earlier illusion. Only this time, each reflection showed her friends in danger—Hanni trapped in shadows, Dani lost in a maze, Haerin surrounded by flickering phantoms. The images grew more intense, showing her friends calling out to her, reaching for her, but no matter how much she tried, she couldn’t reach them.
Then, in one of the mirrors, she saw herself—weak, helpless, watching as her friends disappeared, one by one. The image smirked, a dark glint in its eyes.
“Some protector you are,” it taunted. “Without you, they’ll be lost forever.”
With a gasp, Minji tried to shatter the mirror, but it only reflected her own helplessness back at her. She felt an overwhelming dread—a feeling she had rarely experienced before.
When she finally opened her eyes, she wasn’t at home. She was standing alone in Blackwood Manor, back where it all began.

Dani’s Nightmare:
Dani dreamed of an endless field where she was running, searching for her friends. The ground beneath her began to shift, turning into sticky, black mud that trapped her feet, pulling her down. She struggled, but the harder she tried, the deeper she sank, until the darkness began to engulf her completely.
As she fought against it, a voice whispered in her ear, “Give up. There’s no escape.”
Her chest tightened, panic threatening to overwhelm her. She clawed at the air, desperate to breathe, desperate to escape. And then, as the darkness overtook her, she woke up—only to find herself back in Blackwood Manor, alone and terrified.

Haerin’s Nightmare:
Haerin wandered through a dimly lit forest, each step taking her deeper into the shadows. The trees seemed alive, their branches reaching out to grab her, pulling her down. She could hear faint voices in the distance, laughing, mocking her fear. She tried to call for help, but her voice wouldn’t come out.
The shadows grew thicker, and suddenly, she felt icy fingers wrap around her wrists, pulling her into the darkness. The last thing she saw was a pair of red, glowing eyes staring at her from the shadows before everything went black.
When she opened her eyes, she wasn’t in the forest anymore. She was back in Blackwood Manor, the dread weighing heavily on her.

Back in Blackwood Manor:
The four girls wandered the haunted manor, each one unaware that the others had been pulled back into the nightmare. The rooms seemed darker, colder, and filled with an unsettling silence. They each moved carefully, calling out for their friends but hearing nothing in response.
Eventually, Minji was the first to encounter the others, her heart racing with both relief and worry. “Are you guys okay?” she asked, pulling them into a huddle.
Hanni looked around, her face pale. “We left, Minji. We got out. How… how are we back here?”
Dani shook her head, hugging herself as if to keep warm. “This isn’t the same as before. I think… I think this ghost is different.”
“That’s because it is,” a low, guttural voice replied, chilling them to the bone. They turned to see the evil spirit materialize before them—a dark figure with hollow eyes, a menacing grin, and an aura of pure malice. The girls instinctively stepped back, realizing the true danger they faced.
The spirit chuckled, its voice reverberating around the room. “You escaped once, but this time, there is no escape. I feed on fear, and your terror has brought me back to life.”
Minji clenched her fists, trying to push down the fear creeping into her mind. “We beat the last ghost. We’ll beat you too.”
The spirit’s grin only widened. “Try all you like. I’ve made this place my domain, and you are nothing more than guests in my nightmare. You may have broken my illusions before, but this time… you’ll never wake up.”
Before they could react, the room began to shift and twist, warping around them as the nightmare deepened. Each of them was pulled in a different direction, separated from the others. The spirit’s laughter echoed through the halls as they each found themselves alone, trapped in their own personal nightmare.

Minji’s Challenge:
Minji fought to keep her composure, running through the endless halls in search of her friends. She could hear their voices, faint and distant, but every time she turned a corner, the path shifted, leading her back to the same spot. It was as if the house itself were playing with her, trapping her in an endless loop.
She took a deep breath, focusing on her determination to save her friends. “I’ve faced illusions before. You’re not getting to me,” she said firmly, trying to push through the haze of fear.
But a cold whisper echoed in her mind. “Brave words… let’s see how long that courage lasts.”
As she pressed on, she could feel the spirit watching her, feeding off her struggle, her fear. Minji knew she was facing a powerful entity—one that wouldn’t be defeated so easily.

The Nightmare Continues…
As each of them confronted the twisted illusions crafted by the spirit, they realized just how dangerous this evil ghost was. It was stronger, more malicious, and relentless in its pursuit to trap them forever. Every step they took felt heavier, each door they opened only leading to more confusion and terror.
They were fighting for their lives now, not just against the spirit but against their own worst fears. And with each passing moment, the manor tightened its grip, drawing them deeper into its nightmarish hold.
