Jen: I miss you already.

Bash: Jen
Bash: Do you really?

Jen: I do. I really do. And I think I've been missing you since yesterday.

Bash: Why? Did I do something wrong?

Jen: I think I was so happy at finally getting you, and then that moment you tell me that you are leaving. It hurt from how abrupt it was.

Bash: I should have told you. I know I should have. It's just—I didn't even come to terms with it myself.

Jen: Well, that explains the last-minute packing of your apartment and suitcase, huh?

Bash: Yeah, I was in deep denial.

Jen: You don't say.
Jen: Anyway, where are you?

Bash: In the car. Miles and Andrea are wondering who I'm texting so abruptly right after my goodbye with you. Hell, even Evie is judging me.

Jen: You have a baby judging you. That's a real low.
Jen: Also, admission

Bash: Shoot

Jen: I may or may not have told Andrea about our night yesterday.

Bash: You should see the way Andrea turned back at me when I jumped from reading your message.
Bash: And... I think it's fine. Miles knows about my development of feelings toward you as well. I didn't tell him until his wedding night, though.

Jen: The wedding night! Imagine what could have happened if we kissed that night.

Bash: We could have. There were many opportunities, but I think it's for the better that we didn't.

Jen: Why?

Bash: Because sometimes the lines between lust driven by hormones and real feelings blur. I want to see it from a clear perspective.

Jen: The reason we are back to friends.

Bash: I'm sorry.

Jen: I imagine friends don't know the way friends taste.

Bash: Jen! You're killing me with these text messages, baby.

Jen: And friends definitely don't practically get excited at the sight of their friend's breast.

Bash: Jen! I did not.

Jen: Your eyes widened like saucers, baby. So freaking wide, and I think you forgot to breathe for a second there.

Bash: Okay, now you're teasing.

Jen: I know. Tell me, how's the happy couple in the front looking at you now?

Bash: They are wondering why their friend is blushing like a maniac.

Jen: Tell them it's me you're texting.
Jen: Tell them you like me.

Bash: Jen! Why does it matter to you?

Jen: The faster you admit you like me to someone else, the more real it becomes to you. And then, of course, I get the guy faster.

Bash: Jen...

Jen: I'm kidding—a little bit. Just tell them you're texting me. I want to hear both their reactions.

Bash: I'll record it for you. One moment, baby.

Jen: Priceless! They seem beyond shocked.
