I may have talked a lot about Ally to my friends for the past week that they wanted to meet her. The soonest opportunity was Steph and Madison's house warming party on Saturday. They recently moved to LA.

"Ally is your ticket to our house party," Steph said on the phone. I heard Madison backed her up, "No Ally, no entry!"

"I know you would not stand seeing me outside your house all by myself—cold, hungry, and sober," I responded confidently. Those two love me.

"We just want to thank the person who is making our best friend happy these days."

"Awww. So let me try to contact Olivia Wilde first. She made me happy in my dream last night."

"Ha-ha. With or without Ally, just be there, okay?"

"I will."

"We have to go now. We are doing last minute grocery. Love you!"

"Love you both too!"

I was not giving into my friends' request easily. But at least they gave me an excuse to be with Ally outside work. For the past two days, we were both at Pab's—she was recording and I was doing my usual—but our schedules refused to meet.

I badly wanted to see her so I decided to send a message.

          Me: Hey Ally!

          Ally: Hey my lady.

Me: Are you free tomorrow at 8 PM?

Ally: Wait let me check my calendar first.

Oooops my bad. I do not have a calendar. Ha-ha.

                    Yes, I am free.

Me: My friends are inviting you over their dinner party.

They would like to meet you only if you agree to it.

Ally: I would love to meet them.

Me: I can pick you up.

Ally: No deal. Let me pick you up. Is 7:30 okay?

          Me: It's perfect.

It was Saturday at last. It took me forever to decide on what to wear. We were not even going out on a date but I wanted to look nice for Ally. Realizing that my friends will not let it pass if I put too much effort, I decided to put on the usual casual—a pair of black pants and a white shirt.

At 7:20, my doorbell rang. It was Ally, sporting the same look. We looked at each other from head to toe and chuckled.

"Hi twin sis!" Ally teased."I know I am early. I would understand if you are not yet ready."

"I'm ready."

"Shall we?"

Ally walked faster going to the passenger side and opened the door for me. She never fails to do the sweetest things.

"You look great tonight," she said as she started her car. "I mean not just tonight, you always do, effortlessly."

"Thank you. You are not as bad yourself because we look alike. Ha-ha."

She turned on her stereo and an Ali Spag hit roared. "I sketched this song's story board," I said. I got excited.

"Really? I love that music video!" she exclaimed without pretence. "How about I guess the music videos you were part of?"
