The rehearsals finished late and I found myself sprinting to my car. Stevie was waiting for hours now but her phone cannot be reached. I called the rooftop restaurant to check if she was there.
"Hello? Good evening. I made a reservation under 'pee dancer' or 'Batman' at eight. Can you check if someone took the reservation? She has a long black hair, sparkling eyes, big smile... with just a pretty face that could leave you breathless." I said. "Plus the woman is kinda tall, with long limbs everywhere. I hope this information helps."
"I do not mean to be rude but can I stop you right there? This phone line is no longer connected to the rooftop restaurant. The restaurant closed about a month ago. I suggest that you call her instead. You do not want to keep a beautiful girl waiting," the person answered.
"Oh okay. Thank you."
'What the hell! How can the rooftop restaurant shut down? Where is Stevie then?' I wondered as I accelerated my car from panic and concern.
Before meeting Stevie the second time, I frequently visited the rooftop restaurant. I memorized the menu, the table layout, the name of the waiters, and even the number of steps to get to the dance floor or the restroom—I wanted the date to be immaculate. When I met Stevie again at Pab's, I stopped visiting the rooftop restaurant—preparing for our future date was not as important as exploring the many possibilities of our present.

It was fifteen minutes past ten when I was woken up by a ding from the lift. I was hoping it was Ally. My phone died earlier and I perfectly forgot my charger. There was no way she could reach me.
When I found out that Ally was Batgirl, I immediately scouted the rooftop restaurant. Apparently, it shut down a month ago. I used Pab's connections to get in touch with the building's owners. With the help of the production team, we set up a gazebo where we situated a dining table with candlelight. We put in as much flowers and plants to make it look like a garden so as to make it more like our first meeting.
As the door of the lift opened, I saw my gorgeous girlfriend panting. Ally ran to me before even catching her breath and gave me a passionate kiss—it was aggressive but tender.
"I am so sorry I am late," Ally said as we remained on each other's arms.
"No you are not," I said. "Remember you were a month early."
"Ha-ha. Danny told me you knew."
"I kind of predicted that Danny will spill it sooner than later. Ha-ha. His loyalty to you is solid."
"Shall we do it properly then?"
"Huh? What do you mean?"
Ally broke away from me and extended her hand.
"Hi future girlfriend, I am Ally." Ally said. "You are even more beautiful without the mask."
"Hi pee dancer, I am Stevie," I replied, playing along. We shook hands. "You are not as bad yourself without the Batman veil."
"Let us cut to the chase," Ally said, staying true to her character. "Fallen angel, can you now be my girlfriend?"
"I am sorry to tell you that I already have a girlfriend. Her name is same as yours and I love her very much."
