There is the secular world and those deliberately left behind by it.

That is why an alternative to the secular world is necessary.
We need to take back control of our world from the principalities.

That is especially true from the 5thcentury CE until now.
The Christian church is just splinters of the offsprings of 'The Way'.
The principalities responded in kind to the pagan Roman surrender to 'The Way' churches.
First using an empire to destroy the Roman authorities and prevent any additional recording of oral tradition of Christ on Earth.
The secular message, then, was to surrender to the counterfeit scripture being substituted.
Later, the secular message succeeded in splintering the interpretation of 'The Way' text.
Using the Christian church corruption to spawn the splintering.
Now, the principalities tighten their grip on the secular world with the splinters obediently silent.
A splinter can appear large to a congregation but tiny to the secular world.
There is only one effective response to the principalities: pay close attention to God's advice.
All must be empowered to reshape the secular culture to God's will.
That means the splintering must be undone and measures taken to ensure that God's will is clearly understood and followed.
That includes safeguards again the Spanish Inquisition and the like.
An elite and hierarchical dominance is inadequate to such a task.
Principalities are experts at manipulating such leadership.
It requires full oversight and easy replacement of leaders not acting competently in everyone's best interest.
I'm not suggesting some form of secular revolution since the principalities are experts in turning any revolutionary impulse to its advantage.
A victory against the principalities requires God's view of time spanning human generations.
Everything can't be accomplished at once even in the best of circumstances and the objective is not to obtain some Utopian result because utopia is a fantasy.
Find methods of self-rule which undermine any attempt of a principality to corrupt self-rule.
For instance, spotting a corrupt leader early then replacing with a trustworthy, competent leader.
In a world of 8 billion people, there are plenty of adequate replacements for any leader.
The first step is developing a system of mentoring which moderates the degree of advantage that one group of people can have over another group of people.
That enables an alternative to the secular world's formulation of cultural rules.
Something the heavily advantaged (billionaires) will dislike with fervor: limits on personal control of accumulated wealth and close scrutiny of accumulated wealth beyond a certain limit,
Similar limits on government accumulations of wealth.
