It has been said that fear and love are opposites.

Primal fear is part of conscious not an instinctive concern.

Genuine love for another person not a practiced portrayal of love.

Fear and love are opposites in that fear is about self and love is about the other.

Freud thought fear was normal because he noticed many people are fearful all the time.

Christ showed at Calvary that there isa grownup alternative to adversity which reveals our true nature.

The grownup alternative is to eliminate primal fear and become fully conscious and unaffected by a fearful reaction.

That is, if someone says something negative to you then the fearful reaction might be to react in kind while the grownup approach would try to discover why it is negative.

Christianity is meant to lift humanity from primal fear, beyond ego and self-obsession toward the desire for the best possible.

Years of our lives are dedicated to developing intellect but little time to develop intuition.

Often intellect is tapped to justify our fears, but it is a well-developed intuition which can determine whether a given fear is justified.

An experience only processed by the intellect fades; an experience can strengthen intuition.

That is, after the experience one must meditate about the experience to benefit from the experience.

Intuition requires time and reflection to work properly without the intellect's distraction.

Evolving into the Christian that God intends us to be means enumerating the fears we have and determining whether any of those fears are justified.

Growing up takes a lifetime of replacing each primal fear with the love of Christ in our heart.

Negative emotions are fear based and disappear as the primal fears disappear.

Then, you'll be ready to explore the moments of your life in Christ's company because it will be a fully examined life before your moment with God.
