Unlike Paganism, which has praying to a god for favors, Christianity encourages placing God into your heart(praying) and showing God in your heart (answering God's call to action).
God's call to action has many facets including pastorship and a missionary lifestyle.
Those, for the most part, are about the first part of Christianity: praying to God.
Is God truly only a Dispenser of solution to humanity's trials and tribulations?
Shouldn't Christianity be active in improving the state of the secular world?
The current state of the secular world suggests that members of Christianity aren't fully answering God's call to improve the state of the secular world.
Is a congregation's pastor sole role to encourage members to place God in their heart?
Not surprising that some Christian groups expect God to lift the steadfast into heaven.
Steadfast, remember, are Christians faithfully keeping God in their heart.
Consider that the part of the universe which God created that we could see is 92 billion light-years wide.
Imagine how human beings appear in God's eyes if we are the only sentient species that God created who, mostly, only pray to God and expect God to handle everything else.
Of course, the universe looks different to a species living on a single planet with the hubris of believing to be God's favorite species.
Where in the second testament does Christ say humans are God's favorite species?
What if the prophecy prediction of the faithful being lifted into heaven is not human extinction of final times but the beginning of a third testament of scripture when every human carry Christ in their heart and the main task is the betterment of the secular world?
That is, steadfast following God's call to action.
What if it is God's main wish is that the steadfast show Christ in their heart in response to God's call to action to change the secular world for the better and that is Christ's second coming.
The spirit of Christ is fully in the world because Christ is carried in every human heart.
That is, Christ's second coming is every human being carrying Christ in their heart.
I'm suggesting that every steadfast begin a journey following God's call to action.
Expanding the numbers of steadfast and improving the average lot of each human being.
Pray, of course, for God's direction and act for God's glory.
Pastors could begin with the members of their congregation to remove some of the chains the secular world uses to prevent the steadfast to make changes lethal to the mighty one's hold on privilege.
The wealthy don't like redistribution of their holdings since it transforms them back into ordinary human beings.
The steadfast create wealth, the wealthy redistribute it mostly to themselves.
Begin the journey locally and unite steadfast with a common objective.
