Everyone gathered at the table, Wu was there for the first time in what felt like months he was rambling about some guy named "Krux" and his brother, whats-his-name. Oh well, I'm sure it's not important.
"So, Kai, you say you and Cole are together now? I always thought it would be Jay and Cole." Wu said, raising an eyebrow slightly, which made Kai, Cole, and Jay glance at eachother. The three laughed, slightly flustered but not really enough for anyone to tell.
"Well I'm with Zane." Jay responded before hugging Zane tightly and giving him a light peck on the cheek, Nya tilted her head slightly and smiled ' I'm proud of him.' she thought.
"Woah! Congrats man! When'd that happen?" Kai exclaimed
"Not too long before dinner actually, but we said we'd tell everyone when the time felt right, and I think the time feels just perfect, don't you Zane?" Jay stated, giving a small giggle and looking over to his now boyfriend.
"I suppose so" The ice ninja replied, placing a gentle kiss on his lovers forehead.
Kai looked at them a little sadly, until Cole grabbed him by the waist and scooted him closer, ruffling his hair and placing a kiss on the top of his head making Kai blush, they turned to face eachother and gave a light peck on their lips.
"Something tells me this is going to get a lot more confusing the future." Wu said, chuckling as though he already knew something the ninja didn't
'I hope so, cause I want them all' Kai thought.
"Hey Kai, Zane, can I talk to the both of you privately after dinner?" Cole asked. They both nodded in agreement. Kai felt a knot in his stomach, he glanced over at Jay. Jay shot him a confused look 'Did Jay tell him? I wasn't trying to flirt with Zane - I mean I was but not really - because I have a boyfriend and I love him and - UHG this is so difficult.' Kai suddenly became very anxious.
At about 8pm (19:57 to be precise) Cole led the two into his room.
He sighed "Okay, here goes." a slight hesitation in his voice. He kissed Kai, Kai raised his eyebrow slightly then Cole took a deep breath. "I love you baby, but.." Kai's heart started to sink 'what could he mean?' "there's something I need to confess to the both of you." Cole sighed, unsure how to say what he wanted to.
"I- I" He pauses, a tear rolling down his cheek out of fear that Kai might leave him. He wants to hug Kai for comfort but that would be awkward right now.
"I'm polyamorous! And I have a thing for both of you not just Kai, and I like Jay too!" His face flushed. He said it. He actually said it.
Kai looked at his boyfriend, slightly confused, raising an eyebrow; which really worried Cole for some reason. Cole's eyes darted towards Zane, who had a small smile and was blushing slightly.
His eyes darted back towards Kai who was chuckling slightly now, his anxiety rose. "That's what's been bothering you? Baby I'll love you regardless, also I uh-" Kai glanced at Zane before glancing back at his boyfriend, walking over and hugging him before whispering in his ear "I also like both of them.."
"Well then, it just depends on if Jay likes the two of you, which I can confirm as he confided in me while he was in the infirmary. By the way Kai, you do not whisper very well." Zane chimed in, catching them both off guard and chuckling slightly.
