The last two days had gone by in a blur. Harmony went to class, then work, and home just like she did every other day. She hadn't heard anything from Billie or Paige, and for that she was grateful.

Their lack of communication gave her time to really clear her head and think through what she wanted. Harmony decided that making amends with Billie was definitely in her best interest and hopefully the younger girl would want to be friends. As far as Paige went, if the blonde decided to peruse her she wouldn't turn her away.

As Harmony stood outside of Billie's apartment, her heart beating erratically, she prayed their conversation would go well. Billie seemed open when Harmony texted her so she had no choice but to take that as a good sign.

The door opened a moment later and Billie gave her a small smile as she ushered her in. Harmony took in the space, the decor simple and very unlike Billie. It was clean though and held an overwhelming vanilla scent that was signature to the younger girl.

"Can I get you anything?" Billie asked while Harmony took a seat on the couch.

"No, I'm good," the older girl smiled slightly. "Thanks for letting me come over."

"Of course," Billie nodded as she sat down making sure to leave some space between them.

Harmony took a deep breath to get her nerves together. She didn't know why she was so anxious when she didn't plan on saying anything bad.

"Well um I just wanted to talk to you about what you said at the library and let you know that you were right. I should've been upfront about my feelings for you, and not to make an excuse, but you have to know that I wasn't really sure how I felt. I mean not after we did what we did."

"What do you mean?" Billie questioned. She turned her body so she could give Harmony her full attention.

"You know we've never been close. You have always just been Jade's best friend and that was fine with me. But when you comforted me on prom night I realized you were much more than that. Then when I saw you at the graduation party I realized how much I missed your presence while I was gone. It was so nice just talking and catching up that it felt like we were actually friends. And when we had sex I knew my feelings were changing. I got scared Billie. I didn't feel like I would be a good girlfriend and you were moving across the country anyway, so I just ran."

"Harmony all you had to do was talk to me," Billie said as she took the other girl's hands in hers. "I would've understood your hesitation, hell I understand it now. You've been through so much and I would never want you to think I would hurt you. I meant it when I said you deserve the world, even if I'm not the one giving it to you."

"Don't you hate me though?"

"You know I don't hate you," Billie chuckled. "I was just hurt. I really thought we could at least be friends."
