Friday rolled around and it was the same as almost every Friday for Harmony, other than the fact that she didn't have to work. She didn't have any classes, so usually she would do her laundry, catch up on assignments, and meal prep dinner for the next few days all before heading to the library. It was her routine and she had been sticking to it since the semester started. The only thing that was missing was binge watching some reality tv, but that wouldn't happen until later when Xavier got off work. He already informed her of his plan to come home, shower, and then jump straight into spilling some work tea. He was the only guy at his job, and since he was gay the women loved telling him everything.

Harmony's life had become more and more boring throughout her college career so she could always count on her best friend for some juicy gossip that didn't involve her.

As she lounged on her bed, watching people's Instagram stories and waiting for her first load of clothes to dry, a FaceTime call came through. Paige's name appeared on the screen making the girl squeal in shock.

"What? What happened?" Yasmine yelled as she ran into her roommate's room. She followed Harmony's eyes to where they stared at the iPhone sitting on the bed ringing repeatedly.

"It's Paige."

"Oh my God, that's it? You screamed cause she's calling you?" the Latina questioned with a smirk. "Girl answer the phone."

"No. I look a mess and I don't know why she's calling anyway. We've barely even texted," Harmony said.

Since their last run in at the library the two girls had only exchanged a few dry texts here and there. Harmony had gotten used to Paige's flirty demeanor so she was a little put off at first. She eventually just chalked it up to the fact that maybe the athlete was just bad at texting.

Walking over to Harmony's bed Yasmine rolled her eyes and accepted the FaceTime. "Oops," she said as she tossed the phone in the other girls lap.

"Took you long enough," Paige's deep voice came through the phone.

Harmony glanced down at the device and thought she would pass out from the view on her screen. The blonde had her phone propped up and was only wearing a sports bra and a pair of sweatpants that sat low on her hips. She held a controller in her hand, clearly focused on the tv in front of her as she waiting for Harmony to reply.

"Uh h-hey," the older girl finally got out. Her train of thought was all messed up. The way Paige's muscles in her arms flexed as she played the video game had her practically foaming at the mouth.

"What are you getting into tonight?" The younger girl asked.

"Nothing really. I'll probably just hang out at home with my friends."

"And you didn't think to invite me?" Paige glanced at the camera briefly with a pout.

Yasmine chocked on her own spit and locked eyes with Harmony. The brown skinned girl could feel herself blushing and she hated it. This girl was too good at getting her worked up.
