Tuesday, 11:54 am.

Elliot was laying in bed, his face buried in the covers, and tears slowly rolling down his face. Elliot was always pretty emotional, especially when he came to being sick. Suddenly, he heard his phone ding. He groaned and grabbed it from the nightstand, reading a notification from Brad.

where are you? Dom and faye are worried.

Elliot's vision was blurry, so he had to reach over and grab his glasses from the nightstand.

I got the flu.

Elliot waited for a response, but none came. He rolled over and let out a couple of coughs against the sheets.

After a few minutes he heard the front door open, but was too dazed to fully process it. Then he heard footsteps coming up the stairs.

"Mom...?" He asked in a raspy voice as he heard the door creak open.

"Uhm... No."

Elliot placed his glasses over his nose and adjusted his vision. "B-Brad?!" He asked, clearly surprised.

Brad walked over to him and sat on the edge of his bed. "Hi."

"..h-hi..." Elliot mumbled with a soft chuckle, which was quickly interrupted by a coughing fit.

After his coughing fit ended, he mumbled a soft apology, even more tears steaming down his face.

Brad gently reached up and wiped a stray tear away. "How're you feeling?" He asked bluntly.

"L-like fudge.." Elliot responded with a soft whinge.

Brad placed a hand on his forehead, feeling the rising temperature. "Can I get you anything?"

Elliot sniffled softly and extends his hands, making a grabby motion.

Brad, without hesitation, climbed into bed with him and pulled him into his lap, cradling his head against his chest and whispering soothing words into his ear.

Elliot clung to him tightly and buried his face into his chest, his body shaking with sobs. But at least he felt a little better now that Brad was here.
