I don't have membership, so I'm assuming this is how the convo went:

Zoey looked disgusted at Jake. "Do you ever wash that thing?" She raises an eyebrow, crossing her arms.

"What? Of course I wash it," Jake responded. "I do it on the weekends."

"Every weekend? Ha! I don't even remember the last time I washed my jacket," Henry joked.

Drew rolled his eyes. "When was the last time you even washed your boxers, Henry?"

Henry snickered. "Oh, that was a looong time ago."

Lia looked disgusted. "This is why I don't go out with you, Henry."

Henry put on a fake pout. Liam ruffled his hair. "Don't worry, Hen. She's a lesbian."

Lia frowned. "HEY! No I'm not!" Zoey just looked annoyed.

While they were bickering, Henry looked down at the floor. Maybe he should start trying to get better at that. Suddenly, a group of older boys shoved past him. "SOMEBODY SMELLS LIKE SHIIIT!" They shouted, laughing loudly. Henry couldn't help but feel a pang in his chest at their words, but he brushed them off and continued to laugh and tease his friends.

After lunch, Henry went to the gym and walked into the locker room with Liam. He changed into his gym clothes while they were laughing, and Liam looked around for a moment, before taking something out of his backpack and handing it to Henry. "Here bro, use this." He handed him a bottle of deodorant.

Henry stared at it for a moment before taking it and rubbing it against his pits. "Thanks, bro."

"I gotchu, bro." He dabbed him up and shoved the deodorant into his backpack before walking out of the locker room with Henry.

As they made their way onto the field, Jake, Drew, and Liam went to play soccer while Henry went to play volleyball with Lia and Zoey. The game started, and it was their ball. Lia swung her fist forward and sent the ball, which was originally in her left hand, over the net.

Eventually, the ball came up to Henry. He put his fists together and hit it with all his might, which sent it flying into the net, an automatic foul. Everyone on his team scowled at him, and some even started whispering.

"Great. He's for sure gonna make us lose."

"He's gonna have to get his shit together if he wants to play with us."

Henry could hear the whispers and started to get uncomfortable. He shifted awkwardly in his position, pretending not to hear them.

"He kinda smells... I don't wanna go near him."

Henry looked over at the people who whispered this, and they quickly looked away. But when he looked back, he saw the volleyball coming at him at full force. It hit him right in the face before he could make a move, knocking him to the ground. He groaned and rubbed his nose, but when he pulled his hand away, he saw blood.

"Somebody get a nurse!" He heard one of the students shout, though it was sort of muffled. He laid on the ground, his vision darkening at the edges.

The next thing he knew, he woke up in a slightly uncomfortable bed. Jake, Drew, and Liam all surrounded him. Jake was the first to speak up. "Hey dude, you alright? That's one hell of a shiner you've got."

Henry sat up, his pride bruised more than his face. "Shiner?? Show me." Liam handed him a mirror, which confirmed he indeed had a dark purple bruise under his left eye. His nose had stopped bleeding, thankfully.

"Oh no! Lia will never look at me the same way again!!" Henry shouted. Soon enough, the nurse walked into the room, interrupting his thoughts. "Ah, Henry, you're awake. I called your father, and he said he'll come pick you up at once."

Henry shook his head quickly, his hands following the same motion. "I-I'll be fine! I don't need to leave!" The nurse shook her head. "It's fine, dear. It's almost the end of the school day anyhow, and you should get some rest."

Henry frowned.

"The nurse is right, Henry." Jake said, patting his leg and standing up. "Get some rest." He started walking out of the room with Drew and Liam following close by.

Henry rolled his eyes and laid back down on the bed, caressing the spot under his eye and wincing slightly.

Soon enough, the front desk called for Henry. The nurse put the phone down and turned to him. "Your father's waiting for you at the front desk. Better get going."

Henry nodded and stood up, slinging his bag over his shoulder and walking to the front office where he saw his dad. His dad ran up to him and started examining him for further injuries. "Hen, what happened? Are you hurt? Who did this to you? Did you fight back?"

"Dad!" Henry gently shoved him away, adjusting his backpack before walking off. "Lets just go." Henry's dad stood there for a moment before following him to the car. He was slightly shocked at his behavior, but he didn't say anything.
