After a long week of assignments and relentless quizzes, I finally had a day off. Today was a "visit Aunt Joan" kind of day—a day i always looked forward to. I pulled on a simple, oversized sweater dress in a warm shade of mocha, paired with black boots that reached mid-calf. Comfortable, but nice enough for a family visit. I grabbed my keys and slung the small leather satchel over my shoulders.

My aunt's house wasn't far, but today the drive felt especially quick. I parked along the quiet street, taking in the sight of sprawling, modern house. The architecture was sleek, all angular lines and floor-to-ceiling windows, with a touch of whimsy—a bold res door that set it apart from the other homes. It felt like a slice if my childhood yet brimming with sophistication.

Locking my car and walking up to the door, smiling at the familiar red. I reached into my bag for the specific key snd slid it into the lock, opening it smoothly. As soon as i stepped inside, a wave if comforting scents washed over me—vanilla and a hint of lavender, fragrances that instantly transported me to memories of lazy afternoons with my aunt. Ii took a deep breath, closing the door behind me, lost for a moment in the warmth of the familiar atmosphere.

The quiet was soon interrupted by the soft, rapid tap of paws skittering across the floor. I looked down to see Tiger, my aunt's stripped tabby cat, padding over to me with an eager, expectant gaze. He is a handsome cat, his fur a rich blend of deep browns and blacks with striking, almost golden eyes that seemed to assess me. With a proud flick of his tail, he stretched up, rubbing his head against my leg, purring loudly, as if scolding me for being away too long.

"Lilith, is that you?" My Aunt's voice called from the kitchen.

I straightened, leaving my things by the door as i followed the sound of my aunt's voice. Entering the kitchen, i found my aunt standing at the counter, effortlessly beautiful in a soft yellow dress adorned with watercolor-like splashes of pink and lavender flowers. The fabric flowed with s gentle, air grace, and the sleeves billowed slightly at the wrist, creating an ethereal look that suited my aunt's elegance.

"He, love," my aunt greeted me with a smile, adjusting her earrings—small gold hoops that caught the kitchen light in little glints. "How's your week been?"

I sighed, leaning against the counter. "Exhausted. One if my professors assign's quizzes every Monday. So its been a non-stop studying."

"Sounds rough," my aunt replied, a sympathetic frown forming as she continued to put on her earrings. She glanced over, noticing my curious expression. "Oh, this?" she gave me a polite smile. "Im hosting an even this evening, helping out a family for a private party. Would you like to come along?"

I was weighing down the options, and with Olivia buys with her family and studying finished, i figured, why not? "Sure. Just let me change into something a little more... party-appropriate."

With a quick grin, i hurried upstairs to my aunt's guest room, which, to my delight, remained untouched—an enduring time capsule of my younger years, right down to the childhood trinkets and soft blue walls. I stepped into the adjoining walk-in closet, slipping out of my sweater and jeans, pulling n a fitted, black cocktail dress that hugged my curves perfectly, accentuating my hourglass figure without being to revealing. The fabric was silky, reaching mis-thigh, a tasteful blend if classy and flirty.

With my outfit complete, i turned my attention to my hair, quickly styling my blond locks into voluminous, bouncy curls reminiscent of Marilyn Monroe. The curls framed my face, adding a hint of old Hollywood glamour, and i finished my look by selecting a sleek black clutch with a slight metallic shimmer, perfect for the evening.
