I sat with Y/N as we waited for her Uncle to arrive.

She was on edge, understandably, but I felt ready to fight for what I wanted.

We stood up as he came in, and he smiled back at Y/N and nodded at me.

"Looking well, Y/N." He hugged her and then he sat down on the chair after we did.

I poured a glass of whisky for us both.

"Tell me, what calls for this meeting?" He asks while sipping his drink.

"Y/N and I are making it official."

He dropped his tumbler onto the table suddenly.

"What do you mean.. Official?" He grits his teeth.

"Tell him, Y/N." I placed my hand on her thigh, and she glared at me.

She took a deep breath.

"I know everything, now.

I can do my bit and follow in your footsteps.. But I don't know how I could do it effectively without someone like Chan to guide me."

The Captain flicked his eyes onto me and took a sip of his drink again.

"What makes you think I want you with my Neice?" He shot at me, and I put my arm around her in front of him.

"I'm not sure that's something you can decide."

His eye twitched like some evil villian.

This is perfect. I finally have something that can get me what I want.

"Can I speak with Y/N in private?" He then softened his tone, directing it to Y/N, and I stood up, giving Y/N a look to continue playing ball.

"How can you choose this man over your own blood?!" He shout whispered as Chan left the room, distressed about what was happening.
