"Oh, wow! Look at you! You'll definitely pull tonight. You look incredible.." I gushed as she held the door open to let me in her apartment.
"Oh, stop. There'll be no 'pulling' tonight. I'm not even sure I wanna go out.. I'm worried something might happen.." She whined at me, and I made sure not even let a crack of doubt emerge from my otherwise chirpy expression.
"Don't be silly.. This is exactly what you need to put your mind at rest. If something happens then you can blame me. I'll protect you, anyway. That's what friends are for." I smiled at her, then held my hand out for her to take.
I know I am playing a role here, but she really is a sweet girl. I feel bad for deceiving her, but we need to make the most of her while we can.
"I can't drink too much.. I have dinner tomorrow, remember. Hungover would not be a good look."
I smirked while nodding at her, and she rolled her eyes as she took my hand, following behind me as I lead her out her door.
I chose the bar that Chan said, and it was already super busy.
I know the others are here as well, but I can't help but feel a little vulnerable myself.
I have my pistol with me, but I won't want to use it unless I really needed to.
We walked to the bar and I ordered shots.
We sunk them straight away, and I ordered another load for her to get down her.
She needs to loosen up a bit.
She also needs to get on the dance floor, and make herself a visible target.
No doubt other nomad rivals will be on her scent even more, so I need to put her out on display a little.
Flaunt our precious gem like a bait.
I know Hyunjin and Jeongin are in the shadows in case anything backfires, but the ideal set up would be for our rivals to come out of the woodwork without Y/N noticing as much of a whiff of them.
Whether that works or not is another thing.
We walked to the dancefloor and I felt Y/Ns body as she slowly became more intoxicated.
She then stiffened up slightly and I gave her a quizzical look.
"Jisung.. There's someone watching me.." Y/N leant into my ear, and I turned to see who it was.
Lix.
"It's okay. Do you want me to tell him to back off?" I spoke in her ear, and she gripped onto my shirt as she felt uneasy being so visible to bystanders.
"I want to move on from here.." She worried, but there's no way that's going to happen.
I pulled her close to my body as the space suddenly felt more cramped, and I could sense her defeat in not getting the escape she wanted.
