We got to the restaurant, and Chan pulled me over to him for a deep kiss.

It was almost like he was wanting to turn me on.. and annoyingly, it was doing just that.

Even though he is so intense, I felt major butterflies.

Playing boyfriend and girlfriend might not be so bad.

I left him to enter the restaurant, and my uncle was already sat waiting with his back towards the door.

I nervously approached him, and then felt it all fizzle away as his bright smile greeted me.

I wanted to give him a cuddle, but I had to let him lead this, as he still thinks he is playing along with it, being their 'business partner'.

"I got you a drink. I wasn't sure what to get.." He smiled, and he had actually got me my go-to drink, which is just pineapple, lemonade and vodka. Of course, he knew exactly what to get me.

I sat down opposite him and he then showed me the flowers.

White roses.

I felt so bad for him that he has been outed.

I just want to tell him.. But I know that might make things worse.

"How have you been? Anything significant since I last saw you?" He asked me quietly, and I plucked up all my courage to play along with Chans game.

"Uh.. I split with Steven.." I started, and he made a surprised face like he never knew, but of course he was the first to know. He never liked Steven anyway..

"..but I have found someone else. It's early days.. But he's really nice and treats me well."

Here it goes.

My Uncle cocked his head.

"Any man that treats you well is already thought of highly. What's this persons name?" He smiled.

"Uh.. Chan. Bang Chan." I awkwardly smiled, and my uncles smile dropped.

"Has he forced you to say that?" He then leaned in, seething with anger that literally turned on like a flick of a switch.

"Oh? No, no. Why would you think that?" I forced a giggle, hoping he would keep his cool.

Why did he say it like that? Like a mix of anger and fear?
