Thousands of eyes drifted towards me, and they held my gaze. The silence was tangible, the unbelief unfathomable. I was always very responsible, I was always an example. In time, people change, and so did I. My name was Amarathine for Christ sakes, i'm of royal blood. Everybody has such high expectations. The rooms silence gradually drifted to small talk, and side gossip. I was dreading the repercussions, I didnt much care for the opinions of others, except one person in general. I veered up, to see my father looking down at me. "Amarathine, follow me, now!" You could see the anger hidden in the wrinkles of his face, and the arch of his thick brows.
"What the hell do you think you're doing young lady?"
"Father, it was a mistake, i'm sorry."
"Sorry can't always cut it. I'm retracting your ordination." he said this with little remorse.
"You cannot! Whos going to be princess over this kingdom father?"
"I will be ordaining someone with more self control."
My eyes pooled with water, I was so angry. My blue eyes shifted to curelean, and I was filled with hate.
If the people around me wanted to mess with me, then they were going to get what they deserve. I walked away, as graceful and elegant as always, I was a princess after all.
