Tucked away in the tarnished metal. Was a thousand little stones. Each and every one was the size of a grain of sand. Were they indeed from the shores of an ocean, or something elSe? they were the color of a cherry. Red and vibrant. Anna knew they couldnt be from the shore. She tried to tuck them all away. Not leaving a single one behind. She put them all back in the limited space in the locket, she screwed the top back on and put it back in her pocket. That is all except for one. Anna held on to the little red speck. She was trying to understand what it was. As she was examining it, she was held aback. For the speck leaped from her hand and towards her face. She hurriedly snatched it and shoved it in the locket. She started to catch her breath and was shaking her head.
"Haha Anna how could you be so stupid? This is obviously just a dream! And now you will awake and remember everything! You will be surrounded by Your family. You'll have a home. You'll be okay."
At that exact moment, she did awake. But she wasnt awoken from sleep, but from the present. A memory. A clue.
"Amarathine. Are you almost ready? The guests are anticipating your arrival."
Down the winding stairway came a young beauty. Tall and thin, long dark ringlets, sparkling eyes topped with long, dark lashes.
"Mother. You know it takes time to impress. Now capeche, we dont have much time."
She exited the stairwell and headed towards the ballroom. Her champange colored ballgown trailing behind her.
"Why hello Henry." Amarathine said
"You are stunning darling." Henry slowly leaned his head towards hers, until his lips brushed hers.
"I love you."
"I love you too Henry."
