The crisp scent of the hospital wing lingered in the air as Evan Rosier, his health considerably improved after three days of rest, prepared to leave the sanctuary of Madam Pomfrey's care.

Evita stood by his side, sternly reminding him to heed the healer's advice and take it easy, while Azrael, Quintessa, and Regulus awaited his return in the common room.

As Evan changed into his Slytherin robes, Lily Evans entered the hospital wing. Her eyes, seeking out her friend Alice Fortescue, were met with a sight she hadn't anticipated.

Caught in the midst of changing, Evan glanced up, and their eyes locked for an awkward moment. Lily quickly averted her gaze, her face turning a shade of crimson that matched her vibrant hair.

"Whoa, Evans, didn't know you were into the peeping-tom business," Evan teased, his tone light but bemused. "Pretty disgusting."

Lily stammered, flustered, "I-I didn't mean to... I was just here to see Alice."

Evan, enjoying her discomfort, chuckled. "Your face is as red as your hair. Is that a common trait among mudbloods, or just a personal preference?"

Lily's eyes flashed with a mixture of irritation and embarrassment. "Don't be ridiculous, Rosier. I'll wait for Alice outside."

As she hurriedly exited the hospital wing, Evan smirked to himself. He might have been teasing, but he couldn't deny the intriguing reaction he provoked from the fiery Gryffindor. Chuckling under his breath, he finished changing and headed outside, ready to rejoin his friends and resume his boring school boy life.

Evita scrutinized Evan as they exited the hospital wing, her sharp eyes narrowing with suspicion. "What was that little exchange with Evans about?" She asked, her tone demanding an explanation.

Evan waved her off nonchalantly. "Nothing, just enjoying poking fun at the mudblood. It's entertaining."

Her expression tightened, and she spoke with a stern reminder, "We shouldn't be getting too close to mudbloods, Evan. They're filthy and below us, remember what Father says?"

"Supérieur jusqu'à la fin. Superior until the end." With an eye roll and a smirk, Evan echoed their family's motto.

Evita nodded in approval, seemingly satisfied with his response. The Rosier siblings walked side by side through the castle corridors and as they navigated the familiar paths leading back to the Slytherin common room, they encountered a group of admirers, predominantly giggling witches with fluttering eyelashes and flattering smiles, eager to welcome Evan back after his brief stay in the hospital wing. Evan couldn't shake off the uneasy feeling that accompanied the attention.

"Welcome back, Evan!" One of the admirers chirped, her voice a touch too enthusiastic.

"Hey, Evan," Another one of them purred, twirling a strand of hair around her finger. "I heard you were amazing in the Quidditch match. Is it true you took a Bludger to the head and barely flinched?"
