At the Country Bear Jamboree, Fleur Archambeau was just finishing up singing a slow romantic song in French.
Plaisir d'amour ne dure q'un moment
Chagrin d'amor dure toute la vie
Everyone else at the party was applauding for her.
"C'est magnifique, Miss Archambeau" said Jill.
"Yeah, ma'am" said Max. "Ya got a nice voice."
"Don'tcha agree, J man?" said Buff. "I'll break ya."
Jeremy still kept his composure. "I must say, that was very good."
"I agree" said Brer Vulture. "Now it's time for me to give the traditional SNO toast."
"Wait. You said we could give it this time" said Melvin.
"Oh yeah. Go ahead" said Brer Vulture.
Melvin, Buff and Max recited a toast speech in unison.
"We sing out loud, we sing out strong, but sometimes we can only sing for so long."
Fleur smiled with satisfaction. "Bravo, mes amis. Very impressive."
"Jeremy, she's impressed" Jill teased. "Do you agree with her?"
"Certainly" said Jeremy. "If you enjoy talking animal heads reciting toasts."
"Ooh la la" said Fleur wrinkling her nose.
On Splash Mountain, the critters were eating all the ice cream, playing dangerous games and messing up the Laughing Place.
Burt was having a really hard time slowing it down and needed help.
"Brer Rabbit, please help me end this rebellion" he begged.
"No way. If I joins side wid you, day'll turn on me too" said Brer Rabbit.
"But I don't wanna get in trouble" said Burt.
"Den ya might wanna stop dat game o' billiard baseball" Brer Rabbit warned.
"What?!" Burt gasped.
He saw that some critters were playing baseball with billiards.
"Alright that's it!" Burt scolded. "This has to stop! I'm in charge and I demand you all head back to your lairs at once!"
"Get him!" Brer Fox yelled.
And all the critters attacked Burt, pinning him to the ground.
"Brer Rabbit! Help!" Burt shouted.
At the theater, Fleur approached Chad at the dessert table.
"Forgive me for saying, Monsieur Stuart" she said. "But I believe your partner is a trifle more stoic than I would like."
"I agree" said Chad. "I have a feeling there shall be a lot of bear fur in my future."
"Pardon?" said Fleur.
"It's a long story" said Chad.
"Well, I hope to see Monsieur Clyde smile soon" said Fleur. "I am sure it is heartwarming to view."
Then she walked away as Jeremy approached.
"Did you hear that? I'm too stoic for her" he said.
"But don't get too comfortable, Jeremy" said Jill. "She said she'd like to see you smile. I think she's warming up to you."
Patty was eavesdropping near the stage stairs. "Jeremy is attracting Archambeau? Why does he have to be so cute?"
