Akira practically screamed out, his Odm gear had run out of fuel, and he was barely running on anything, which practically meant his titan killing speed had been reduced greatly.

He was just left dashing toward the big building in the middle, he would get his fuel there.

His byakugan was being forced to work overtime as he evaded the titans that came at him, he watched as the chakra signature of that commander left the building...oh that bastard.

Akira sliced off a titan arm with his blade before using Gale's palm to cut its head clean off.

Akira was in a rush to get there, he needed to get there, Krista was still alive and he knew, he could still see her in his range, and luckily no titan was near her.

If anything were to get within a 100-meter radius of her, he would stop trying to get the fuel and instead use his Chakra in order to get there.

Sure he would be wasting about 40% of his chakra reserves but he didnt care, she was incredibly important to him.

And it pained him more that people were watching people that they viewed as important to them be devoured by titans.

It truly had pissed him off, and to think the commander was hiding away.

A girl looked out the window and saw it...A titan was staring right at her... It was over...she was just going to die like this.

She however didnt want to die like this, if she were to die, better if she died on her own terms.

Taking out a gun, she placed the head of the gun infront of her mouth, she closed her eyes as a tear fell down her cheek.

If her life was going to be over, she might as well end it herself.

*Bang*

She died instantly, as her body fell limply on the floor, the 28 or so titans outside the window were slain, and a boy with very smooth skin entered the building covered in titan-evaporating blood.

"We are saved..."A boy that was nearby said.

"Stephania we are s...." The boy's word was caught in his mouth as he watched his girlfriend laying on the floor limp...she had just ended her own life, just seconds before Akira came in...

Akira looking at this scene just stood there stunned.....it didnt help with his byakugan he could tell that she was dead....like dead, dead.

He couldn't save her...

He watched as the guy bawled his eyes out for his girlfriend...Akira stood there stunned.

That was yet another person he was too late to save....his body felt numb.

Why wasn't he there earlier.....

In all the movies and films he watched, the hero always came in time to save the day.

He thought that due to his gift, he could be the hero who could save everyone but here he was watching a girl's dead body on the floor.

Akira was so numb that he didnt even see nor feel the splattered brain of the girl that was on his face.

"Where is the commander" Akira asked in a voice devoid of emotion.

"He...left..about..30..minutes ago," The boy said now more scared of Akira than anything, looking at someone without a pupil was terrifying...
