Inside this little house of his, Akira and Krista could be seen huddling up together for warmth.
Their bodies pressed against each other for warmth.
Akira did not find anything unusual about their closeness, they were simply trying to stay warm.
Krista on the other hand was a blushing mess, she couldn't even utter a sentence without stuttering.
Being so close to him made her feel all warm and fuzzy inside, it was a feeling that quite frankly felt addicting to her.
As the both of them huddled up next to each other, as their bodies intertwined, Akira couldn't but notice how cute Krista looked.
He hadn't noticed this before but now that she was so close to him, she looked quite adorable.
Her face was flushed with a pretty rosy pink color, her eyes were sparkling with a soft light, and her hair had now escaped the bun she had placed on it.
Her hair now framed her face, cascading on her soft curls.
She looked so cute.
His cheek started to heat up a bit...even though they were just snuggling for heat he could feel something else rising in his chest.
The idea of being with her for a while was quite tempting to his current self, she was just so cute.

Akira said reminding himself of his mental age, that however was easier said than done, even if mentally he was only about 17, physically he was 12, and he was in the body of a 12-year-old boy.
And just like any 12 year boy going through the early stages of puberty having a cute girl so close to him was having some effect.
His mind may have been 17, however, his current body was affecting his mind greatly...at this rate by the time canon started, his memory of his past life would have been completely erased.
It felt like his past self was being deleted from existence, she should be just a little sister to him.
However the more she snuggled up to him, the more he wanted to just hold her and give in.
'At least wait till she old enough...'
He reminded himself mentally, that he was not going to for her, she was too young....even if he technically was only a few older than her, mentally he was 17.

Meanwhile, Krista, feeling how Akira's body reacted to her, couldn't help but blush, this was some embarrassing, however on the other hand.
Akira felt Krista's body squeeze closer to him, the warmth his body was emitting due to her being so close was always good
She placed her head on his shoulder before whimpering something about joining the survey corp.
"You want to join the survey corp" He replied softly.
She nodded her head up and down.
"Why?" He asked calmly.
"I have to...."She replied politely.
"It's dangerous, you could die"
She did not panic, she merely rested her head on his shoulder before saying.
"I have to"
"Find, I will join you"
Was it him or did her heart skip a beat?
"You don't have to"
"Do you think, I am just going to watch you sign to your death, I will sign in and guard you, you my companion after all" He gave her a bright smile.
Her cheeks turned a deeper shade of red as she looked at him...
"Thank you..."She replied softly as she gave him a light kiss.
It was his turn to turn red, she let out a small giggle before saying.
"Thank you"
"No problem" He had a smile on his face as he said that.
"Can you make me a promise?" She asked in her usual soft voice.
"What is it?" He replied softly looking at her.
"If one day, I get taken by bad people, please save yourself, don't come for me" She sounded quite sorry for him
"Anyone who tries to get you will have to go through me, no one touch my little Krista"
Her cheek seems to turn red at this.
"Then promise me this....when this is over, can we live together, just 2 of us, away from everything and everyone"
"Sure" He answers calmly She seemed quite content with his reply.
Her heart fluttered close, she then opened her mouth and said something along the lines of. "Love you"
However, he couldn't really make the words out completely.
She seems quite content with her choice.
