Third Person P.O.V

The Inevitable sails across the mighty ocean waves at a fast speed, the sky above gold and a soft purple as the sun began to set across the horizon.

Within Crow's cabin, Sarah, Crow, Jacob and (Y/N) looked over a large map on his desk,Crow setting down a small silver cup and pouring some wine into it.

"When we reach the Dregmorr, we'll follow the trenches," Crow speaks as he corks the wine, setting it down.

(Y/N) flips through a small book quickly, her eyes scanning through the words as she glances from it to the map.

"We stay battle-ready, clear decks, sharpened flints, and fresh cartridge," Sarah continues, holding her dagger tightly in her hand as she looks over it with narrowed eyes.

"The Bluster's hide will be hard to break through," (Y/N) speaks up, looking over the sea beast's page in the book with a frown.

Jacob considers this for a moment, nodding firmly. "Then it's best to use the long spears."

...

The next morning, the crew works swiftly to move everything below deck as Crow oversees them, other crew members working on loading harpoons along the side of the ship.

"Them archers won't do any good, but we've got plenty of carcass shot." Sarah's voice continues.

(Y/N) raises another harpoon from below deck to Jacob, who smiles in thanks as he grabs it and lifts it up to the others.

"We'll hit it with fire, then go for a sleigh ride." Crow speaks confidently. "That's the way with something like this."

The crew work together to raise the mast, the sunlight bright above before time passes onto night.

"We're ready, Captain. We'll take that red demon..."

...

"For we are hunters!" Crow finishes as he slams the end of the spear down for emphasis, the sky above a pale shade of blue with some gold from the sunlight. "And we will bring all of our skill... and all of our rage down upon this beast. And there will be justice!"

The crew cheer loudly with applauds, spears ready in their hands.

"But that will not be the end of this great ship, for no one has sailed beyond the Dregmorr Sea," Crow continues, silencing the cheers as the crew all look up to him with awe. "No one knows what dangers lurk in that terrible unknown. But it will be this ship... under Jacob Holland, that will pierce the darkness!"

(Y/N) grins a bit as she elbows Jacob lightly, making him chuckle bashfully and run the back of his neck. Sarah proudly smiles as the crew cheer for Jacob, (Y/N) applauding as well with a wide smile.

Crew members roll along barrels of ale onto a ramp, Crow speaking once more.

"So let's drink to a successful hunt, with many more to come!"

The crew cheer even louder, Jacob raising his hands with a laugh to try to settle them.

"I could not ask for a greater honor than this," Jacob's voice rings out clearly, the crew listening with anticipation as (Y/N) watches him with a content smile. "But a Captain is nothing with his first mate to help guide him. And none is more capable..."

He turns to (Y/N), making her perk up in surprise as he takes her hand into his.

"Than (Y/N) (L/N), if she'll accept."
