As I turned around to thank Seiji for his advice, I felt two strong, muscular arms wrap around my waist from behind, and a warm scent of cologne filled my nostrils as I felt his chin rest on my shoulder. I let out a small laugh and leaned back into my loving husband's embrace. "(Y/N), I love you so much. You make me the happiest man alive. Please don't ever leave me."

I turned to face Seiji and wrapped my arms around his neck. "I love you too, Seiji Yeager, and I wouldn't leave you for anyone." I leaned in and gave him a peck on the lips. "As it should be, (Y/N) Yeager," he said, returning the kiss.

After our quick make-out session, we pulled away and just stared at each other with loving eyes. "You know something, (Y/N)?" Seiji began, a playful glint in his eyes. "Every time I look at you, your beautiful, gorgeous
(e/c) eyes are like—"

"Like what?" I prompted, curious about where he was going with this.

"Like a thousand stars lighting up the night sky," he finished, his voice soft yet earnest. My heart fluttered at his words.

"Wow, you're quite the poet today," I teased, feeling my cheeks warm. "But I'll take it."

He chuckled, pulling me closer. "Only for you. You deserve all the sweetness in the world."

In that moment, all my worries faded away. It was just the two of us, wrapped in our own little bubble of love.

However, it was short-lived when we heard someone coughing behind us. We turned to see Hana, hands on her hips, rolling her eyes. She looked almost annoyed. "Seiji, are you almost done? I really need your help with this customer on line 3. Sorry (y/n), but I need to borrow him right now."

We both looked at each other, a mix of surprise and disappointment flashing across our faces. I could tell Seiji was reluctant to leave; we had just found a moment of connection in the chaos of our work.

"Just a minute, Hana," Seiji replied, his voice a bit defensive. "I'll be right there."

Hana crossed her arms, tapping her foot impatiently. "We're in a hurry here. I need you to focus."

I could see Seiji weighing his options, torn between duty and the fleeting moment we shared. "Okay, fine," he finally sighed, shooting me an apologetic glance. "I'll be back as soon as I can."

As he walked away, I felt a pang of disappointment, but I also knew that he had responsibilities. I watched him head toward the front desk where Hana has on the on hold.

With a sigh, I turned back to look at my desk and admire the picture of Seiji sitting there. I softly picked it up and stroked the surface.

Seiji has an athletic build that suggests a lifestyle filled with outdoor activities. His brown hair is thick and slightly wavy, often tousled in a way that gives him a carefree appearance. The emerald color of his eyes is striking, drawing attention with their depth and intensity. They sparkle with flecks of gold in the sunlight, hinting at his vibrant personality. His skin has a sun-kissed glow, suggesting he spends a lot of time outdoors.

I set the picture back down and finished gathering all the materials I would need for the big meeting in less than half an hour. As I turned around, I noticed Hana glaring at me. "You shouldn't get so distracted. Focus on the project you're presenting to Levi, (y/n) Yeager," she chided.

Surprised by her tone of voice and a bit annoyed with her demands, I snapped, "I know, I know. I'm on it, Hana Rall." She just stared at me, shocked. Her eyes began to cloud with tears, and her bottom lip started to quiver. Then she let out a small whimper. "I'm sorry,
(y/n). I'm just mad at you for not giving me this project. I just want to be closer to Levi, to admire him and maybe even catch his feelings."

She let out a loud cry, using her hands to cover her face.

I was confused by her sudden change in demeanor. I honestly didn't know what was going on with Hana, but she had been more sensitive today. I let out a sigh and approached her. "Hana, I don't know why you've been acting so weird today. You've been both demanding and persistent. Like I said before, I've been stressed out about today's meeting." I placed my hand gently on her shoulder and smiled softly at her.

In all honesty, it wasn't just Levi's expectations weighing on me; it was the thought of how this meeting could change everything for my career—and how it could also affect my husband's company.

The Ackermans own a large corporation that had recently expanded its operations, and today's meeting could either solidify my role in the company or jeopardize my future there. I felt the weight of that responsibility pressing down on me.

She took a deep breath, trying to compose herself. "I'm sorry. I didn't mean to take it out on you. I guess I just feel overwhelmed. I really do like Levi, and I thought if I could work on something important, it might impress him."

I nodded, understanding her feelings. "We all want to impress the people we care about. Just give it time. You never know what could happen."

Hana wiped her tears and managed a small smile. "Thanks, (y/n). You're right. I appreciate it. Good luck in your meeting."

"Thanks, Hana," I said, with a deep breath, I organized my notes and glanced around the office, trying to center myself. The buzz of conversations around me faded as I focused on my presentation. Yet, a small part of my mind still lingered on Seiji. Would he be able to help me celebrate if everything went well?

As the clock ticked closer to the meeting time, I felt my heart race. I grabbed my folder and made my way toward the conference room, determination settling in. I could do this.

But just as I reached the door, Hana called out, "Good luck! And don't forget to breathe."

I nodded, a small smile creeping onto my face. Maybe with her encouragement—and thoughts of Seiji to inspire me—I'd be able to impress Levi after all. I stepped inside, ready to face whatever came next.

When I looked ahead, I saw Levi Ackerman. He was sitting with a casual demeanor, dressed in a crisp white shirt and wearing round sunglasses that gave him an air of nonchalance. His gaze was fixed on a stack of papers, but I could feel the weight of his presence even from a distance. There was something intimidating yet captivating about him, a blend of confidence and intensity that made my heart race.

As I approached, he glanced up, his expression unreadable. "You're late," he stated flatly, his voice carrying that familiar edge of irritation.

I took a breath, suppressing the urge to fidget. "I—uh, got caught up," I managed to say, trying to keep my tone steady.

He raised an eyebrow, clearly unimpressed. "Excuses won't help you here. Are you ready to work, or are you just here to waste time?" His eyes narrowed slightly, challenging me to prove myself.

I straightened, determined not to back down. "I'm ready. Just give me a chance to show you what I can do."

Levi paused, studying me for a moment. There was a flicker of something—curiosity, perhaps?—before he nodded. "Alright. Prove it. But don't think I'll go easy on you."

With that, the challenge was set. I felt a rush of adrenaline. This was my opportunity, and I couldn't afford to let it slip away.
