The next day rolled around, and Eren, Armin, and I were busy getting our stuff ready to showcase our finalized crystals to the higher-ups. I hoped they wouldn't pick on me again like last time. As I looked around, I saw everyone preparing for the presentation, eager to support the company. A smile crept onto my face when I heard Jean teasing Eren about how he might pee on stage from nerves.

This moment felt surreal, and I was lost in thought when Erwin, Hange, Mike, and Levi approached me. Their presence immediately brought me back to reality, and I straightened up, trying to shake off my nervousness.

"Ready for today?" Erwin asked, his calm demeanor reassuring.

"As ready as I'll ever be," I replied, forcing a smile.

Levi stood beside me, his expression unreadable, but I could feel his steady gaze. "Just remember, you've put in the hard work. Don't let anyone else's opinions get to you," he said, his voice low but firm.

"Yeah! You've got this!" Hange added, bouncing on her heels, her excitement infectious. "The crystals are revolutionary! They'll love it!"

"Just don't let Jean distract you too much," Mike chimed in, shooting a knowing glance at Jean, who was still teasing Eren in the background.

"Hey! I'm just trying to lighten the mood!" Jean protested, hands raised in mock innocence.

I took a deep breath, feeling a mix of anxiety and excitement. "Thanks, everyone. I appreciate the support."

As the group began to gather for the presentation, I felt the weight of the moment settle on my shoulders. This was it—the culmination of our efforts and the chance to prove myself. With one last glance at Levi, who seemed to offer an uncharacteristic hint of encouragement, I stepped forward, ready to face the higher-ups once more.

As we filed into the presentation room, a sense of anticipation filled the air. The higher-ups were already seated, their expressions a mix of skepticism and curiosity. I took a deep breath, my heart racing as I glanced at Levi, who stood at the back with his arms crossed, observing intently. I could see the slight nod of encouragement he gave me, a reminder that I wasn't alone.

As I spoke, I noticed a few of the higher-ups furrowing their brows, seemingly skeptical. Just as I was about to elaborate further, one of them raised a hand, interrupting me.

"Interesting concept, but how can we be sure that a project led by a woman will yield results? Can you handle the pressure of delivering such a project?" he asked, his tone dripping with condescension.
