*Why do I feel like this was supposed to be a romance, because what are these phrases?
Also, yes... I had a Trash Of The Counts Family phase when writing this, I believe? I don't know, it's been a while. I'm still waiting for the next chapters though. (Yes, this was also inspired by ORV...)

'Yes, I know. But how?' He thought urgently.

A red butterfly landed on his finger. A bright fire erupted from his hand once the red butterfly started to disappear. He held the gem of his necklace.

'Is this the skill that god gifted to me?-' the fire materialized into a large, beautiful scythe on his hands. He was taken aback but tried his best to not show it. Kairyo, floating beside him, has a similar expression.

It had a silver handle with a small red bow, and a few small, fake red flowers surrounding the top, a red gem on top, and a red diamond on top of a black diamond shape near the blade clamp and below it is a black string tied to diamonds. Slight silver designs on the bottom, and a red imprint on the blade that looks like vines protecting a sharp blade. A dark red chain was also attached to it.

(*Or the reference is a red and gray scythe with more additional designs like the flowers, chain, etc.)

'Woah...' His jaw dropped, but he quickly snapped out of it and slashed the boulder.

"Ah... Thank you!" The person didn't question anything since after what has happened, it wouldn't be that surprising to see a sight like this. The person thought of something in their head.

'...Wow! That must mean that person is the main character!' The person's eyes beamed. Hiroko wondered why they didn't stand up yet.

'Why do I have a bad feeling?' He shrugged that feeling off.

"What the-" He felt something hit him. He let out a gasp from the pain.

Hiroko almost hit the portal and felt something grab his hair. If it weren't for someone grabbing his hand and dragging him away, the hand disappeared from his hair. He landed on the floor with a "thud." He did see glances of what was inside though. The person Hiroko saved gasped and hid behind the wall, eyes still sparkling. Kuro ran to his side.

'Why did it look like that underground warehouse we saw...? And was that a key?' He looked up as he quickly gripped his necklace and hid it inside his shirt again. He then picked up his scythe.

A girl with red hair tied with two mint green ribbons and a brown skirt was standing in front of him. Her beautiful metal sword is now covered with blood. She landed on the floor as the giant monster exploded into bits. It was her, the girl he saw at the banquet, and at the mall.

Hiroko looked at the top floor of a building. He saw a blue light erupt from one of the open windows.

Kate summoned her bow as she hid inside the building. As black feathers appeared, she aimed the bow at the top of the redhead's neck and fired it.

The arrow almost hit her if she didn't deflect it with her sword to a nearby tree, she jumped away. The tree exploded into bits as blue fire erupted from the arrow. She felt like she didn't hit her because she wasn't clear of her target.

'Woah! I didn't think it could do that...' Kate thought. The girl looked at her and raised her hands. She didn't seem to be hurting them, so she reluctantly lowered her bow.
