Key To Lost Memories -Chapter 11- Start of A Scenario (3)
*I was not kidding when I said this was random. Was I high making this?
Oh wait-
--------

He glanced at the golden pocket watch in his hands. He removed it from his inventory. It was a beautiful antique styled pocket watch, with a bit of steampunk elements, and a small butterfly on top of a design with wings on the cover. It was a custom gift just for him ever since he was born. He fidgeted with the gold chain of the pocket watch and placed it back into his inventory once he heard footsteps.

"I should look for Yuuichi and Chiyo... is it alright? Why was he limping earlier...?" He heard Kate mumble, biting her fingernail. He was planning to approach her, but he felt his knee go numb.

"Uhh, yeah. It's alright. I'm also quite worried about them, let's split up after resting a bit more-you go first, Kate..." Kate soon nodded her head.

"But are you alright? You were limping a bit earlier."

"Hmm? What are you talking about? I'm alright, I don't know about Chiyo though... Wasn't she sick?" Kate's eyes widened at the realization. If one of those monsters went inside her house...

"Oh... alright. I'll go look for Yuuichi and see if any others get injured. Let's meet up at the building that almost got bombed. You know what I mean." She reluctantly nodded before whispering something Hiroko couldn't hear to Kuro, and left Hiroko and Kuro alone.

Hiroko was planning to stand up once more before he fell back down with the feeling of something scratching his knee painfully. It didn't help the fact that he was running around earlier... Luckily, he didn't make any noise and he was wearing black pants so no one would notice.

'Great... now my knee is bleeding.' He stopped himself from sighing.

['The God Of Eternal Rest' asks if you are alright.]

'Oh, yeah my knee is bleeding but it's not noticeable so I'm perfectly fine.' He decided to check his inventory again for the time being.

"They look like harmless zombies, don't you think?" He mumbled to Kairyo. He patted the creature's head as Kairyo nodded.

Hiroko's stomach broke the silence by growling. Kuro's eyes widened and looked like he thought of something before walking towards him and looked at his knee.

"I should've eaten more. Oh, how I'm regretting it now..." He said in a sarcastic tone.

"Some weird crisis is happening right now and the only thing you're thinking about right now is your stomach?" Kuro giggled. It was faint, and a bit awkward... but he knew it was genuine. He was surprised but felt glad for some reason... even though, yes, it's only been a few weeks since they have known each other.

"Ouch. I haven't eaten since earlier, alright? I'm quite hurt to think that I'm only thinking with my stomach, I'm also worried about my other friends, you know?" Hiroko smiled and dramatically touched his forehead. He remembered that he made a burger earlier but forgot about it because he went to the local café... Well, that's what some people refer to the coffee shop... He hesitated for a moment before continuing.

"Umm... I don't know if this is a personal question or not but... how did those rumors about you circulate?" Kuro kneeled down in front of him, grabbing something from his pocket.

"I don't know how to interact with them so I'd just stare, and they would suddenly run off..."

'Oh, so like... communication issues?'

"But at the same time, I keep up the act. It's nice for people to be afraid of you so they wouldn't underestimate you..." He stopped talking. This was the first time he had ever heard nor seen a huge mischievous grin on Kuro's cold but handsome face... or whatever those fangirls and fanboys called it.
