Chapter 10 - New Feelings

I felt the weight in the bed shift and an arm was placed around my waist. I opened my eyes and twisted my body all the way around and came face to face with Kalin.
"Good morning." He grinned widely.
"Morning." I smiled back as he pulled me closer to him. I reached behind me to grab my phone and check the time. It was 9:47. I stretched out as much as I could while Kalin was still holding me.
"It's almost 10 we should get up." I whispered while mindlessly running my fingers up and down his bare back. He groaned in return and pulled the blanket over his head. I slid out of the bed quickly slipping on my bra and underwear and headed to the bathroom to take a shower. I took my phone with me and selected my shower playlist. I turned the water all the way until it was at the perfect temperature and began washing myself while listening to the music. It wasn't long before I felt another presence behind me and two hands pressed firmly around my waist and I turned my head to see Kalin smiling down at me. He grabbed the bottle of shampoo and squirted a generous amount into his hand on massaged it into my hair. I rinsed it out and turned to him, wrapping my arms around his neck. He rested his head on my shoulder and began leaving small sweet kisses. We stood under the running water, enjoying the warmth and comfortable silence.
After a while we both rinsed off and got out the shower. I bushes my teeth and dried my hair before getting dressed. He, unfortunately had to wear the same clothes from last night and I put on a fresh outfit. I wore some nike leggings and a plain blue tank top.
"Hey I have to go drop something off at my friend's house," Kalin stated, looking at his phone, "can you walk out with me?"
I nodded in return.
We walked out to the living room, as Myles walked out of the kitchen. He took my by surprise. He saw us and started chuckling. Kalin greeted Myles and had a short conversation with each other about how they've been in the past year and a half since they've seen each other. after they were done, I walked Kalin out the door, closing it behind me. He turned to me and took my hands in his.
"I had fun last night. Not just the sex, but just being with you again and hanging out like old times." He explained.
"I had a lot of fun too." I smiled, because I was telling the truth. I enjoyed out date, and then some.
"I'll call you tonight. We should go on another date soon. I really missed you Lana." He cupped my face in his hands and kissed me softly. I pursed my lips and smiled, nodding.
"I missed this dimples too. I'll see you later." He kissed me once more and walked off. I opened the door and walked back into the apartment. I think I'm started to have feelings for Kalin again, new and refreshing feelings this time, and I was okay with it. I was still smiling when I walked into the living room and Myles was sitting there eating breakfast.
"Hey. I'm going to the gym in a little bit you wanna go?" I asked him, leaning against the doorframe.
"Didn't you burn enough calories last night?!" He busted into a fit of laughter. My eyes widened and my fave got hot.
"Hey that's none of you're business!" I retorted smiling.
"Well it's sort of my business when you are loud as fuck and I can't sleep!" He doubled over continuing his hysterical laughter.
"Ugh!" I rolled my eyes completely embarrassed.
"We're best friends, come on, why are you all worked up?" He said still laughing a little bit.
"Whatever. The real question is where the hell have you been?" I crossed my arms.
"Work and then some." He winked.
"Like what?" I pestered.
"That's none of your business!" He said, mocking me. I rolled my eyes and walked back to my room. I slipped on some nike free runs and grabbed my keys and my phone. I walked back to the kitchen to eat a quick breakfast before I left to the gym.
I put my dishes in the sink after I was done and noticed Myles left his phone on the kitchen counter and it was vibrating. I bit the inside of my cheek and walked over to it. I looked at the screen and was surprised when I saw the name on the screen. I took it and walked over to Myles, handing it to him. he looked at the screen and raised his eyebrows at the missed call.
"Jake called me?"
