The first bit of sunlight shone through the half open blinds and woke me up. I stretched and yawned. halfway through my stretch I stopped in my tracks.

I was on the floor.

"How the hell..." I got up from the carpet and tried to figure out exactly 𝘩𝘰𝘸 I had managed to think that the floor is a good alternative for a bed. After I had rubbed the sleep from my eyes and sat criss-cross on the floor, I took a more clearer look at my surroundings. Near where my head was when I slept on the floor, was a book.

I frowned and picked up the book. The title read: Haunting Adelaide. It was the Japanese version.

I skimmed through the first few pages, I recalled that in my boredom from the previous night, I had stolen a book from L/n's... or well 𝘠𝘪𝘯'𝘴 boxes. The book was 𝘪𝘯𝘵𝘦𝘳𝘦𝘴𝘵𝘪𝘯𝘨 to say the least.

The whole idea of the dude stalking the main character was ... I dunno how I feel about it... but that shit, it was still lit.

I contemplated if I should dog-ear the page or to get something random to use as a bookmark since I hadn't exactly known to pack in one 𝘣𝘦𝘧𝘰𝘳𝘦 we left. I decided to not be one of those people L/n hated thus I grabbed a pen from my desk and placed it in the book before I put the book on the desk.

I looked at the time, put on some music and then I got the shower ready. The clothes I wore was the same I wore last night. '𝘊𝘢𝘯'𝘵 𝘸𝘦𝘢𝘳 𝘵𝘩𝘦𝘮 𝘢𝘨𝘢𝘪𝘯 𝘦𝘷𝘦𝘯 𝘵𝘩𝘰𝘶𝘨𝘩 𝘵𝘩𝘦𝘺'𝘳𝘦 so 𝘤𝘰𝘮𝘧𝘰𝘳𝘵𝘢𝘣𝘭𝘦...'

After I had tossed the clothes aside I stepped into the shower. The water was a bit too cold for my liking. I turned the hot water tap a bit so that it didn't feel like I was skinny dipping in Antarctica.

When I was satisfied with the temperature I washed my hair with water and my body with an orange and spice scented body wash. I washed off the remainder of bubbles off and stepped onto the mat and wrapped a fluffy white towel around my waist. As I sang to the song playing on my speakers, I got out an outfit from the closet.

Grey sweats, a Green Day band T-shirt with some black boots which had chains on them. Something that sounded like a knock on my door stopped me halfway of getting dressed. I paused my music just to be sure if it was from the door or if it was part of the song.

𝘒𝘯𝘰𝘤𝘬-𝘬𝘯𝘰𝘤𝘬 𝘬𝘯𝘰𝘤𝘬.

"Just a minute!" I yelled to the person who had knocked.

A loud groan made me smile as I tugged on the boots. Just before I had entirely irritated the person at my door I opened it.

My hair was still a bit wet and it dripped onto the hall's white tiles and onto the shirt. "Yeah?" I asked L/n whose arms were crossed over her chest. "I messaged you like a million times and got 𝘻𝘦𝘳𝘰 reply from you so I had to come and see if you weren't dead or tortured by 𝘵𝘩𝘦𝘮 if you'd managed to blow up your cover."

I frowned at her. "I got zero messages from anyone..."

She followed me inside as I checked my phone. It was on silent so it was no wonder why I hadn't heard nor were informed of her fifty-seven messages.
