"Hehe Wait for me!" I yelled after my friend Touya, we were playing tag in what he had claimed as his training spot.
He looked over at me and stopped, I smirked and reached out my hand to touch him.
Just before my hand touched him, he moved to the side and laughed at me.
I fell onto the grass and soil, my s/c knees now stained with skid marks, dirt and green grass stains.
Spitting out the bits of grass that landed inside my mouth, I giggled at him. He ran in a circle around me making funny faces as well. Again I shot out my hand and this time I tripped him, making him fall next to me on the lawn.
He gave me an angry pout, but it looked more like he was suppressing a laugh.
"Rude..." He punched my shoulder lightly enough to not hurt me.
The sound of angry footsteps on the ground path and sticks snapping made us both stop laughing.
He was here.
Touya's father was here. Touya's eyes widened and he shoved me away from him and the mannequin he used to train with. In a whisper he said "Father doesn't like it when I am or play with others, go before he sees you!"
Hiding behind the mannequin in a crouch-position, I peeked at the two. At first Touya kept quiet, not responding to his father at all, but his father yelled profanities from the colourful "police officer's dictionary of insults and phrases".
I didn't hear what his father told him at the start, he wasn't talking as loud as he did now, but I knew it wasn't anything good nor praises to his training alone.
