December 27th, fourteen twenty.

Steve had carried Luz to the carriage when it arrived, Paco being lied inside with her where he promptly passed out. He had also broken his leg, and had passed out from pain when reuniting with Gelato.

The walk back, Parvati and Cheshire had in fact been met with carriages from Amity's kingdom, and taken back to their lands. Luz, however, was still kept back. "For, Luz Noceda?" A guard rose his head, holding the scroll up.

Amity sighs, standing, "Here."

"Oh- Your Highness! Please, come along." He turns, walking back into the room. "Sorry for making you wait outside, we needed to speak to her in private, but she went to rest a few minutes ago."

Amity follows, taking the seat next to her sleeping lover's bed, stroking back her hair. "We have sped up our investigation," He began. "And we have found your story plausible."

"Great. Can she enter the palace walls now?" Amity sighs.

"Not until her documents are finalized." He continues. "We are getting them filled out as we speak, with what you have provided and what was already with her horse, we only require the King to go over it and sign."

"I'll sign. Please bring me the documents, I'd like my knight back as soon as possible." Amity pat her thigh. "Quickly."

He stands, "Alright alright! I'll return as soon as I can, excuse me." He bowed, rushing out of the room.

Amity huffs, glaring at the door which snaps shut, ears flicking to Luz. "Mm..?"

"Luz," Amity turns. "Dear.."

"Hello.." Luz hums, raising her hand. "Was..My leg broken..?"

Amity cups the back of Luz's hand, pressing her palm against her cheek, "Yes, but they've sped up the healing process..Merely a fracture, now.."

Luz caresses Amity's cheek, smiling warmly at her, "I love you..I love you so much, Amity.."

"I love you much much more, Luz." Amity kisses her palm. "You rest, okay? I've got everything under control."

Luz softens, "Okay. I trust you, Mi Amor.."

"Thank you. I'll be here the whole time."

Luz relaxes, soon nodding off, Amity setting Luz's hand down by her side, gently squeezing it. Amity brushes back Luz's hair, ogling at her. "You have grown more toned, since I last saw you..And your hair.." Amity whispers. "And scars.."

She murmurs softly as she caresses Luz's face, the knight melting at her touch. Despite her being asleep, her body still longed for Amity, pressing against her hands, content sighs escaping her.

When Luz woke up hours later, Amity had finished signing her forms, and was walking back into her room. "Amity.." Luz breathes out.

"Luz." Amity perks, quickly approaching her. "Hello My Love, are you okay? Did you need anything?"

"Ah..Yes, I..Had a question.." Luz holds her hand out.

Amity interlocks their fingers, bringing her hand up and kissing it, "Yes, of course."

"Amity..Will you marry me?"

Amity gazes at her, snorting, "I already proposed, you silly knight." Amity kisses her hand again. "Of course I will, my answer to that question will always be yes so long as you're the one asking."

Luz nods, "I..Will propose again..When I have a ring.."

"No My Love, I will propose next time." Amity states. "I will buy you any ring, as many as you'd like, and I'll propose to you with each one."

Luz mumbles softly, a sullen look crossing her face. "I..I wish I could..Do the same..I'm sorry I do not come from money, Amity..But I will do..My best, to please you.."

Amity pinches her nose, Luz huffing and shaking her head, "I am not marrying you for your money, I am marrying you for you. I only wish for two rings, one for our engagement, and the other for our wedding."

"What if I do not get you a rare stone? Surely..You will be disappointed..?" Luz cowers.

"Never. As long as the ring suits me, or is chosen with love, then I will accept it." Amity leans in, kissing her head. "I love you, Luz. Nothing will ever change that."

"You promise..?" Luz sniffles.

"I promise." Amity wipes away Luz's pooling tears. "There is no need to cry, My Love..I will protect you til you have healed, is that alright with you?"

Luz nods, holding back a sob as her tears spill, Amity brushing back her hair. "What did I do to deserve you..? I am so glad I went through that horrid training– I'm so lucky you were the light at the end of my tunnel–!"

Amity coos, placing several kisses over Luz's tear stained face, "My poor Luz..I will always be here for you, you have had a rough day. Please rest, I'll be the one guarding you tonight."

"Will I–" Luz sniffles. "Wake to you on my–"

"Luz Noceda I will call guards in here to take you to horny prison."

The knight laughs slightly through tears, kissing Amity's hand, "Just a suggestion--!"

Amity frees her other hand to rub Luz's arm, kissing her fingers, "And mine is for you to rest. I will care for you, and soothe your aches."

"And my lust..?"

"Another time." Amity grins, a deep red dusting her cheeks. "Soon, I promise."

Luz murmurs softly as Amity gently massages her arm, sighing and relaxing into her sheets. "Okay..I..I can rest..For a bit..."

Soft snores soon fill the room, Amity gazing at Luz, love laced in every thought. Every breath. Every touch and every second. "I will propose to you next time, My Love. With several rings."

     Tis, their adventure continues.
