December 42nd, fourteen twenty, a week later.

The war had begun to dwindle, both sides having come together to rid of a common enemy, and thus began the speak of a truce.

With a few guests.

Boscha, had arrived. "Where is she?" Boscha stakes her sword into the ground, eyes gliding over of all the soldiers she didn't recognize. "Where is Vee?" She perks. "Luz- Luz, where is she?"

The knight steps forward, confused. "My sister? She is resting, in my tent-"

"Take me to her!"

"She- She has yet to awaken.."

Boscha's anger dissipates into one of slight fear but mostly worry. "Awaken? What has happened to her?"

Luz hums, glancing around, "Come with me, I will take you to her." She turns. "And thank you," She snaps, the sword Boscha staked into the ground appearing comfortably in Luz's palm. "I missed this one."

Boscha looks to Matt who disembarks his steed, the knight bowing, "I will find you in a moment, My Queen, I must greet the general first."

She bites her lip, hesitant, but nods, hiking up her dress as she chases after Luz.

Boscha is guided to Luz's tent, where Vee lies on a bed, still unconscious. Boscha sighs, sitting down at her bedside, "Vee, are you alright..?" She brushes back Vee's hair. "The sky has darkened in your absence.."

Vee's body melts at Boscha's touch, a soft sigh escaping her lips, "Zz...zzz.."

Boscha softens, caressing Vee's cheek. "Luz, fill me in." Boscha utters.

"Ah- Well," Luz taps her chin. "Roughly two weeks ago, Alador's kingdom was infiltrated by The Collector. He brought us here, back to the war, and we've come with a truce to deal with rat kings, and have had the truce ever since. We are currently going over ending the war."

Boscha narrows her eyes, "..Where is the being?"

"Collector was guiding our guests back home. He's..Not necessarily on our side, but he is no longer actively against us."

Boscha whips her head back, appaled. "What?

Luz shrugs, shaking her head. The story did seem a bit odd, now that she was saying it aloud. Had this been her life for the past two weeks? "He's on neutral grounds now, I suppose."

Was that true? Collector had freed Luz and Vee from his puppetry, but Vee hasn't gotten better. "Is, he here now?" Boscha points to the floor with one hand while the other points up.

"Hm? No, not yet. He hasn't returned."

Vee shifts, a hoarse hum escaping her. Boscha diverts her attention back to Vee, ears perking, "Vee?"

"Hm..m.." Vee sighs, frowning slightly as Boscha's hand seems to have gone missing.

The queen stands, sitting at the empty space by Vee's hip, poking the basilisk's cheek. "Have you awoken yet, serpent friend of mine?"

Vee peeks, tired eyes frowning up at Boscha. "Mmh..?"

Luz nearly weeps at the sight of her sister's eyes peering up at the two, a sight she had begged to see for almost a fortnight. "Vee..How..How are you feeling?-" Luz steps closer.

The basilisk hisses softly as she moves to sit up, but her inactivity renders her muscles useless. Boscha guides her to sit up, moving beside Vee and holding her up. "Boscha.." Vee melts. "Hello My Queen.."
